    Yuzuki Kawasaki is disgustingly smooth! These kids are a clear example of how the amazing Japanese people are the best at finding the things that their children gravitate towards naturally and nurturing the ones that they excel at. Some of the kids in this video could skate street along some of our greats here in the states in my opinion. Awesome video Jonny! Though everything has to come from somewhere, many cultures/lifestyles are truly borderless and are naturally loved and/or perfected by people of any nation, ultimately revealing that we're all the same thing with minor differences. This video was an excellent example of that! Thanks for making it!

      @phlogistonstudio8261 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      @@MikeyAce45 ok so physics is inarguable. Nobody will be traveling past the speed of light, transmuting materials, or breaking gravity. You’re right about a generalization, so I should add context. While sheer physics is limiting, physicality in the athletic sense isn’t. Recall before the 1940’s there was no physical possibility of a one minute mile till there was. Point being, will power, physical prowess, and mad coordination have a lot to say about the achievable, physics aside. Learning from what we see defines the next impossible thing. It’s the core of innovation and these kids have a whole life to innovate. But maybe their just parrots with no ideas and they just keep doing what’s done, time will tell.

    It actually gives you a better idea of the level of board control and how locked they all have these tricks, so insane.

    These kids.....OMG! They're so amazing. And I love how they're keeping it alive, Isamu is 20,Yuzuki is 14, Kai is 12, & they didn't even mention Little Man who was probably about 8 y.o. learning from the Masters like Baby Yoda, gettin his goofy foot flip on! 🤣 Osaka has it on lockdown for these next 20 years. Sorry/Not Sorry, world! I'm here for it! Let's get inspired! Beautiful to see. Global flavors remixed. Also, Jonny Giger is the REALEST! He made these kids' day,too! Dude just has a big heart, & a lotta soul. And crazy skills. True champion, beyond sports. On the human level.

    Late 90s I was just kid at my local skate park in Seattle, WA. This old head that had to be in his 40s at the time would come in full gear and throw it down old school pimp tight freestyle. The whole park would stop just to watch him strut his stuff. Really cool to see a lost art coming back with vengeance. I couldn’t disagree more that this isn’t real skating, it’s even more challenging and technical using every aspect of your complete deck. My favorite was the pogo, to a handstand pogo, to a handstand manual. Dude was a beast on his hands or feet 😅

    They're all so cracked it makes my head hurt, this was such a treat to watch and I'm a blader! The level of skill here is just off the charts... A combination of mullen influence (and others) along with the raising of the skill ceiling and floor with the knowledge of tricks being generally higher... how far we have come

    ollies off of high drops, over big stair sets and gnarly grinds are cool and all, but i absolutely love the technicality involved in freestyle. it's like a dance

    • @WiseOnion
      @WiseOnion 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      technicality is more intense in the stair sets and grinds, but freestyle is more creative , unpredictable and free flowing which makes it exciting.
