By far the best tutorial for this lace I’ve seen yet. Thank you so much. One of the laces I got with my shoes are longer than the other by a bit so that was throwing me off for a hot minute.
thank you I really didn’t like how other videos laced them up and was confusing, i liked the laces in this video and very simple instructions thank you 🙏🏽
Your instructions so easy to follow👍 before watch this i always tie my shoelaces vans manually without video and a litte bit confused to make like that beacuse the leftovers still long. Thank you, and god bless you🙏❤️
@@Tahiti-Tiahna808 Hi, the number of holes is all down to the size of your shoe - smaller sizes have less holes. The tutorial should still work for you 😁
@@ShoeDIY Hey, so first of all thank you very much for answering this fast but I don’t really understand what you mean by that so if you have time it would be nice if you could explain it quickly again where to put the loops, because they’re pretty big. Thank you!
@@Hendrik2255 No worries. When you put your shoes on, flatten out the 2 loops on top of your foot - and the extra down the side of your foot. Alternatively, watch my Jordan 1 low video (from 3:40) It may help 🙏
If the laces are behind the tongue, make sure they're really flat against your foot, maybe wear thicker socks - or keep the laces on top of the tongue, pulling the ends of the laces completely through the last two eyelets and tying a bow or factory knot on the outside of the shoe. Hope that helps 🙂 🙏
the laces look great when the shoe isnt on foot but when i put it on the tongue which was previously pushed down pushes on the laces and makes them really tight
@@respondfall When lacing the shoes, keep the laces looser then the tongue won't strain on them when you bring it back up. Bring the tongue back up half way through lacing just to check you've got the right tension on the laces, then push it back down and carry on lacing 🙏 Hope that helps
i just took a pen and when the shoe was on loosened the laces lightly and now the shoes look great i was wondering if the size of the shoe may affect the look cause of the lace size i see your laces look much thicker than mine
@@respondfall I'm not sure, maybe you're right about shoe size and laces. I did iron mine though because they were really crinkled when I got them out the box - so probably made them look wider 😉
Hey okay, no problem - so instead of taking the lace down into the 6th hole, you'll need to thread your lace up/out through the 6th hole. From there you can make the two loops and take them behind the tongue as you bring the tongue back up. 'Hope that helps :)
Hey ! I don't know why but my laces are really thick (more than yours) and from an aesthetic point of view its a little ugly 😅 I don't know if i have to find different laces on internet or if there is a thing to do with them 😅
Here's the difference: a US women's 6.5 is the same as a UK women's 4.5 - therefore you have less holes as they suit the length of your shoe. Hope that helps 😀
@ImpinkCashh A couple of things maybe: the tension of your laces isn't the same on each loop you've made so pulling them in or out to look the same should help. Second, the thickness of the lace in each loop needs to be the same so you may need to pull on the width of each loop to ensure they all look the same. Both these adjustments should help to neaten them up. Perhaps a third tip would be to pull the entire laces out, iron them flat, placing a towel between the lace and the iron to protect the lace. Who said achieving perfection was easy?! 😅 Hope that helps! 🙏
I don't know - but because mine were so twisted when I got them out the box, I ironed them flat (I put them between a towel to prevent marking them). Maybe this explains why they look wider ☺️
@@ShoeDIY The video is helpful I will say that Edit: I learned that I picked a size too big for my feet so I'm either gonna have to replace them with the size I need or buy a new pair with the correct size

are the shoes meant to be tight when u were them
They can be a bit snug because the tongue's so chunky - it's best to loosen the laces a bit more if the shoes are too tight.
