I totally agree with you, metafis! No one really understood as good as Rick Parfitt, what rock & roll really meant! His death means a huge loss in rock music. Innumerable often tried to do after his way of playing all those wonderful twelve bar songs on the rhythm guitar, but never by anyone even remotely matched. I'm really full of appreciation I've visit Status Quo live in concert for about 40 times and I realize as well it's just a case of sheer luck having the ability to relive all these fantastic memories in my mind for the rest of my life!
