Apart from the panniers, the accessories are not worth the price they are offering. Aftermarket would catch up in no time and at less than half the price.
Two important parts u have forgotten 1. Crashguards for the Handlebar and Motor. Saves Money 2. An Automatic chain oiler. Costs not much, but ur chain and sprokets love it. So it saves Money on the long run as well.

I got steel engine guard + aluminum radiator gaurd + 2 steel oil reservoir protectors + MS material tough crash guard from Moto torque the next day of delivery... it came to just 11.5K including installation. The quality is excellent. Next time i go to Moto torque, i have headlight grill, pillion flat footrest, top plate extra in the list. Thank you Moto Torque. @manishkumartiwari5404 The accessories I have mentioned are not disturbing my chasis, so it's going good for me. I have not made any major after-market fittings to my himalayan450. I feel Moto torque guys have good build and practical design. May be those damages to vehicles due to bad quality nuts and bolts used. I am not sure. It really depends on the quality of after-market fittings. I recently fitted myself a pair of pillion flat footrest as well. I am not promoting a particular brand, but I am using it for myself.

I hate carrying too much luggage. My luggage now is around 12 kgs which I feel is already too much and out of which around 4 kgs are tubes and tools to change the tubes. When I get the Himmy, I'll buy it with the tubeless spokes. In terms of accessories, maybe the taller windshield (hopefully someone manufactures taller/wider adjustable windscreen) and hopefully the rally seat. I wish in the future RE offers adjustable Suspension and shocks. Tubeless spoke wheels and adjustable Suspension would be amazing.
Do you prefer Panniers or Saddle Bags ? I happen to have Viaterra Condor 2Up as Saddle bags, also a spare couple from Triton X3 from (Gods). I am wondering how much difference panniers would make wrt handling. Are they lighter or heavier ? The problem I have seen with saddle bags is that in bad weather they require lots of overhead. I got drenched in Spiti with rain and dust, and it was a nightmare to clean them.

I don't think you require pannier rail for the tail bag from Vaiterra or Rynox since the exhaust is lower the bags won't touch it..I think you can do without it because the bag sits on the pillion seat quite sturdly , only in case of saddle bag and pannier you will need it.

RE is also not giving tubeless rim, they already knew about it that it will much needed. RE is planning to sell again tubeless rim extra to earn money. They can easily give option on bike whether a customer can go with a tube tyre or a tubeless tyre. What you thought on that???
Hard luggage is fine if you are keen on it, but it might be better to get third party ones like Givi or SW Motech - easier to swap with other bikes in the garage or with any future purchase.

You have to see them in person.. No issue with field of view… Infact even more angles to adjust and set according to your requirements with the additional pivot point with a bolt one can adjust. Although, i feel they are a tad too expensive at 7k for the pair
Panniers n hard saddles preferred only for riders who frequently tour for long days....if not preferable soft one which is an ease ....but ...bags are prone to theft while moving around....however anyone who can carry such huge weight n live with it above the 196kerb can opt fr such modes

But when you go on the website and get into MIY section where you can select the bike and do the add on accessories by yourself , so when you add the touring seat there is a price reduction of close to 3000/- .. and when i asked the RE showroom guys those guys and clueless and not just this, any query raised to the RE guys, they have no answers at all.. feels like these showroom guys dont do a proper study on their own products !! 🤦

Himalayan 450 is made for Touring inspite of that RE not giving the basic touring things like seat, mirror, wind shield with the bike itself. This not fair with the customers, they are just looting for the sake of Touring and it is just up selling.

Getting touring seat additional I don't understand what RE is doing. If you are making a bike for touring purpose then your seat has to be by default of that sort that matches the design. I know original seats have off green shade and the touring seat is black. Himalayan is already costly investment and then not providing basic accessories as part of bike. Fully money mindset of RE. Not thinking from customer point of view but pure business. That's why Himalayan sales have declined

Tailbags for ADVs anyday, if you don’t have a pillion. Then saddle bags.

I have no idea on when those bags will come out.. But yes they are being made definitely by some third party manufacturers.
Crash guards are a must. Phase 1/2/3 or otherwise.
