I just bought a 2025 Himalayan in the same color as this. They are still pretty hard to get here in the US. Dealership told me that I am the first one to get one in my state. Very excited to get out on the road and feel the wind on my face. It's been 25 years since I've had a bike, and I think this is a good bike for getting back into the lifestyle. Great review, sir.
@michaelmam No doubt about that .I plan on staying very cautious and close to home for a while. I grew up in the bike culture and have seen some pretty bad ones. I know I have to get my "sea legs" back, especially since I have issues with one of my legs. Thanks for your response, and keep rolling man.
Thank you, Michael. Your ability to find qualities you like in each bike you test is admirable. When I lived 220 miles south of here in the SF Bay Area, there were destinations like your coffee shops. Up here in the Way North State, there is nothing that I have found, so I am jealous.
Yes . I am very lucky to have such good coffee stops in my riding area ! I actually try and review the bikes with the question “ what were the designers trying to do here and have they achieved it? “ rather than a simple “do I like it” . It helps me respect the bikes for what they are 👍
Loving my Himmy 450 so far! The reason for the sidestand being off is that suspension was calibrated after the side stand design was frozen. Heard rumors of RE fixing this with accessories soon.
When someone do something with an open heart .. I see pasion truely passionate about the work.. the voice over and script goes well with your work.. do yu.. sir.. greatly enjoyed.. Youngsters should learn
Thank you ! Glad you enjoyed it . The format is probably a bit old fashioned for some . I like my videos to have a beginning , a middle and an end and think about what I want to say , before I turn the camera on 😂 We are all different … which , in the main , is good 👍 Thank you again for your kind comment ..
Nobody does a bike review like you, your always my first port of call even when your doing a bike that isn't my cup of tea. This RE is really my type of bike, a very serious piece of kit and much more on my radar than the garage queen that is the new Triumph 400s i really like Enfields.
Loving these videos. Regardless of what motorcycle, the format of these journals are absolutely spot on. Well spoken, informative, good details, keep it up, hopefully there are many more to come.
@@michaelmam keep up your great work, Michael 👍 Supposed you are paying us a visit, you might be able to create a review of a Z900RS or Vulcan 650S, mate 😀
Another good review Michael and as you probably know I pick up my new Himalayan 450 on the 1st June and to be honest I can't wait to enjoy all the benefits you have mentioned!
Great review Michael. I did prefer the utilitarian looks of the previous model but can also appreciate the upgrades. As a Classic 350 owner it took me a while to ‘ride it for the bike it is, not the bike I wanted it be’ and love it more. Keep up the enjoyable bike content.
Thank you Michael for a great review. I have the Classic 350 here in Thailand but I am definitely thinking about upgrading to the 450. I always love to see the English countryside. Thanks again! Sal : )
Great video Michael as normal thank you, very in depth and completely neutral absolutely loved riding this bike so much fun for such a small bike . Many thanks Dean
When I was in my late teens I aspired to owning a Yamaha XT 500 but it was out of my price range, I did, however, manage to afford the trail orientated Suzuki SP 370. That bike was simple, capable and fun and I have happy memories of my time riding that machine. This is, perhaps, why this 'thumpy' single appeals to me and I would very much like to have a go on one....for old times sake! Excellent review. Cheers. 👍
I used to work for a Swedish motorcycle magazine in 1980, and actually rode the Suzuki SP370 for a couple of weeks, during winter. I liked the bike, and found it easy to live with. It was a good all-rounder, and always started on the first kick, even when cold.
@@quentinjackson6015 I remember those times I wanted an Xt500 too but couldn’t afford it so ended up with a Honda xl250s, I fondly remember the sp370 it was a great bike. Simpler times and definitely more pleasure able times.
Afternoon Michael ….. another enjoyable review. Apologies if you are already aware, but watching you ride into Shipston on Stour ; the 15 or so miles of the B4035 linking Shipston to Banbury via upper and lower Brailes is well worth using as a test route. There is a nice little cafe at the Banbury end. Warmest regards.
@@michaelmam Thought that might be the case. The road has some nice direction and elevation changes. Used it a lot myself in my previous life as a test and evaluation rider. In fact extending across the other way to Chipping Campden and onward through Blockley and Broadway very pleasant too. Keep up the great content.
And then comes the Gorilla 450. The Himalayan is more my style, but for those who prefer a roadster style bike, the Gorilla is very appealing. It has the same engine as the Himalayan, but is built purely for the road, and appears to carve up the twisties with aplomb. It comes in some fantastic paint schemes as well. This was the best review I have watched so far, on the Himalayan 450. Very good job. I rode for several years in my early 20s, on bikes ranging from a Honda CB350 to a Suzuki GS750 former police bike. Now, at age 59, I am looking to get back into riding. It is good to see people of my age, or older who are still avid riders, or even just picking up the sport.
@@scotty2307 I have the Guerrilla soon for a review . Looking forward to it 👍 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment . Have fun on your return to motorcycling . Ride safe !
Thank you Ady . Entertaining and informative has always been the plan . Some bikes are easier than others to review and I enjoyed the journey on this one ..
@@michaelmam I’m also researching for fun the Triumph 400 X which I think many will compare the Himalayan with if it it is only going to be primarily a road bike.
My trip showed 99.9 mpg running in for first 300miles(over 100mpg?) and the 4000rpm limit. After now 'down' to 99.3 overall and 96 mpg since first service with the next part of break-in procedure of 6000rpm until around 1200miles. Always used E5 99octane Vpower Shell fuel rather then any E10/lower rated fuel with normal power setting, never used Eco and expect it will settle around 90 miles per gallon in uk/imperial once fully run-in. Bike was ordered 12 months ago but did take until august this year for the tubeless tyre variants to arrive but well worth the wait. Engine does get better with more miles covered and gearbox/brakes/suspension/handling/construction have exceded my expectations
Thanks Michael for a great review. Having now owned my RE interceptor for 3 years i am not surprised by the quality of the new Royal Enfields being produced now. It reminds me of when the Japanese started in the 60,s. They only got better. Cheers from Queensland Australia.
Nice review subscribed . As others have said I enjoy your presentation style and high quality video work. Im shopping for a new mid sized ADV bike and I am split between the HM452 and the CFMoto450. Test rode the HM452 and was very impressed. I have ridden DR650's and recently did 50k on a CRF Honda Rally but the 40hp range is just the sweet spot for me. I enjoy simple bikes to match my simple brain haha. The other upside is that i can buy several different style bikes for the price of a "better bigger faster" more complex bike.
@@drd3816 Sounds like a nice problem to have ! I am thinking about swopping one of my bigger bikes for a smaller “trail” or 250 Enduro bike . Liked the HM . Triumph Scrambler 400X was nicely put together but I would have the change the front sprocket .. some nice bikes out there . Two of my friends are looking at the CFMoto 450 but it is the value that attracts them . Haven’t ridden one so 🤷🏼♂️
@@michaelmam I have owned several 250 Dual Sports and 650 dual sports and find these 450's are a sweet spot albeit a bit heavier than the 250's. Which is better for road work and less so for trail work. Its scary getting hit by cross winds or the trailing air off a large semi truck at highway speeds on a 300 pound range bike but they are a breeze to pick up when you drop them. I did 8000km on a Triumph 400X this year and then sold it. Pretty bike, great engine i actually toured on it with dry bags and racks. My neck got sore at the end of a ling days ride haha. The suspension leaves something to be desired for rough potholed roads but a good fun bike. I didnt change the front sprocket but that wise as its not really an offroad bike anyways. Im touring in Asia on a NX500 i set up its a great light tourer with panniers. A poor mans BMW. For Canada i will get a bike with longer travel suspension. The HM452 is really growing on me after riding it. The practical nature of all the accessories that just fit on the RE and work plus the torque and surprising highway manners and it would do well on gravel roads as a travel bike. The CF moto requires getting a new exhaust can for soft luggage installation and might be a modern jerky bike. I miss carbed bikes. The KTM type street enduros and even the Triumph 400X were a bit jerky for me. Its tiring. The HM 452 didnt seem to have that issue but i need more test rides.
That's a coincidence, I've just returned from the RE dealer in Salisbury (Hayball) who kindly let me test ride their new Himy. Generally, I'm not a fan of 'adventure style' bikes but, for some reason, I really like the look of this machine (especially in black and gold) and the fact that it has a biggish, good looking, single cylinder engine ..... so thought I'd check out how it rides. I was only out for an hour so didn't fully master all the screen functions but I really enjoyed the bike itself. I would agree with virtually everything you've said and was very surprised at the long legged punch from that 450 single cylinder and the bike's ergonomics suited me perfectly. It's certainly given me food for thought 😁 I bought the Hntr 350 last year and it's a brilliant little machine ..... reminds me of my days on a BSA B40 (350 single) and the same 20 BHP. Thanks again for the video, all the best, Phil.
I really enjoyed riding the hunter . Nice bike . As you know the new 450 has significantly more power and impressive torque for its capacity .. nice dilemma to have 👍
I also tried the bike out at Hayball recently - its on the tall side for me but still fully rideable; I really liked the gearbox and fly-by-wire throttle, and it will pull in any gear so long as you give it enough gas. It felt really confident on the road and glided over the bumps "slightly" off road; I wouldn't trust the stock tyres in the soft wet mud though, they work but aren't confidence inspiring. The screen was actually ok, I see RE do a taller screen now which would be good for longer rides on the tarmac. Hopefully il get one next year for my big trip!
First time viewer …and new subscriber. Yours is a very welcome departure from the style of Moto journalism I usually see. Nicely measured pace and tone in your dialogue, with high quality video as well. Most other content creators could benefit from your example of a class act.
@@DF-sq3mw Thank you . I am glad you enjoyed it . The format is a bit traditional in so much as it has a beginning , a middle and an end 😂 We always film in high resolution . Harder to work with , but better to watch .
@DF-sq3mw Keep searching. There's some pretty good ones that are very similar to his out there. I mainly look for the ones that are not affiliated with any bike company . Sometimes, I even shy away from bigger reviewers because I fear they may be influenced by sponsorship.
That short side stand could be a blessing on offroad on very uneven ground, sometimes with a normal side stand you wouldn't be able to put it down while sitting on the bike plus putting the bike too much in the upright position, onroad though could be an annoyance when the motorcycle is a bit on the heavy side.
It is - the best RE quality - the best versatile - not the best for everyone. If motorcycles were about commuting anywhere except extremely difficult to reach remote sites, then it’s a top choice. Motorcycling for me isn’t about bread and butter or compliance and therefore, no, it isn’t at all the best RE. I’d go more purpose driven for a 650interstate, or a 350classic. But before that I’d chose different bikes, like the W800, the z900RS, the MG v85TT, a R1300GSA (to come), or just plainly what I have, a Velocette Venom Clubman MK2, still running fine. No need to race and still able to do so.

If Michael likes it, it's a good un. Thanks for a very informative review as usual Michael. Quick question. Some reviewers have described it as vibey through the bars and pegs at 65-70mph (in top), what was your experience?
I actually raced a couple of 4 stroke singles off road . The XR 400 ( which shows how long ago we are talking😂) could numb your hands in 10 minutes . Personally I think the frequency of the vibrations produced is fine for a bike of this type but we are all different . The more power you ask for , the more vibration it produces 🤷🏼♂️ I thought it was great to ride . Engaging and agile ..
@michaelmam Yes, we've been spoiled quite a bit since those days haven't we? It's all relative. Best bet would be to ride one myself - with pillion as that's our MO these days and see what I (and her indoors) feels about it.
J Series 350s remain enfields best offering thus far IMO... That said I'll add an old Himmy 411 soon. Many stonking bargains on the second hand market now 🥳 *Plough* 🎉
I likes the Hunter and thought the 411 Himalayan was rugged and competent . My favourite , so far is the new Himalayan as a stock bike but completely accept we are all different 👍
Should add a great review and excellently filmed and scripted content so thank you for your time in producing the video. I thought I was subscribed but I think TH-cam is randomly removing some of my subscriptions so I have resubscribed. Ride safe
How well is the engine vibration isolated from the handlebars, seat and foot pegs? Seeing you doing 60 mph at 5K rpm in 6th gear, that seems like a lot of revs for a single cylinder.
@@philipcooper8297 It is a busy single . That is how it gets its performance but for me , it is a price worth paying . If you are worried , see if you can try one and decide whether it feels ok for what you want? 👍
Ive heard as ive not yet tried the 450 yhst engine vibes get to you at higher rpms , i put that down to the engine being a stressed member of the frame , correct me please if any engineer thinks otherwise. Erm i noticed a comment mentioning "pegs" doesnt everyone know that means "foot pegs" lol
😂 I thought he said vibs through the handlebars and that the bike “pegs” .. I will hold the phone nearer 😂. As someone who raced off road , 4 stroke singles I would say the vibrations on this new bike are perfectly normal 🤔 As you know , all engines vibrate , the question is at what revs and what frequency ..
@michaelmam Lol no worries, I to have to get the phone in the sweet spot otherwise everything's a blur 😁 new reading glasses required . As far as the vibes go I'm sure it's liveable 👍
My only concern is this ride by wire ,I live in Australia and have huge distances to cover if your in the middle of know where and your ride by wire packs up your stuck if it was a cable you can fix it the rest of the bike is great and good value jimmy WA
The tubeless rims are new for 2024 I believe, not sure what happened to side stand but apparently that was also corrected. Are you sure rims are tubeless or is it just the tyres ?
@@itsallabouttheridekeepingi4449 on that bike it was just the tyres . Valves should have told me ! Too much reliance on a press release . Should have believed my eyes !
The integrated google maps isn't very helpful. It requires your phone to stay open which is both risky in terms of theft and bad in terms of phone heating. Also the speedometer in is decently accurate as some riders did compare it's speed to gps readings and the bike does go upto 160kmph(You have to wring it to the limit though).
Thank you for commenting . Haven’t tried the app but personally have never worried about using my phone and goggle naps . Probably toured 10,000 miles in the last two years 🤔 Phone is fine ..
Why would you need to keep the phone on the bike. When I ride I keep it inside my riding jacket and the navigation worked as expected. The whole idea of this feature is that you don’t have to mount your phone on the bike.
@@edwardhodges8637 Don’t think I have seen one with cruise control . We seemed to manage alright in the past but I have got used to having it too . Use it regularly now on my touring bikes .
Looks like it will sell well. I haven’t ridden one yet but sat on one. Seems unnecessarily heavy for the sake of being affordable. It feels quite top heavy. If there was more alloy rather than mild steel on some parts it may have been less top heavy.
@@michaelmam my friend who is quite short wanted this bike but when she sat on it she struggled to manoeuvre it. I’d like to test ride one and see how it actually rides. I’m sure it will sell really well. It’s a good value proposition. Along with the CF Moto 450MT.
Maybe a tip ?, A youtube Girl showed us to turn the steering to the right before lifting off the side stand ?. Too many rev's for me, The Triumph is even more !. Cheers Bill.
Thanks Bill . Turning to the right helps a bit but the lean , in my view , is too acute . It is , as you rightly say , quite a revvy bike probably to get the power . Some will like it , some less so 👍
It will be the best selling Royal Enfield in Australia and probably NZ , as we have a lot of off road riding , and other here that’s what most riders would buy it for .
@@itsallabouttheridekeepingi4449 Makes sense . Their biggest market is of course India which is where the 350 is topping the charts . Will be interesting to see the 2024 numbers .

@@DaveHall-v4lHonest answer .. I don’t know . I have assumed it is an RE developed engine 🤔 Just reviewed the Guerrilla . Good bike , I liked it . 👍
Rode one for three hours. Vibey at 70mph to the point the mirrors were unusable. I think that’ll ease with miles but never go away but I could live with that. What I could not live with is that side stand …. Being small I would struggle getting the bike upright even more so with luggage. Delay to the outside laced rims that are tubeless meant I cancelled my deposit but liked the package and will more than likely look at the CF moto 450 and re try the himmy hopefully when they have the low seat available ( still not showing to the dealers or on the configurator) for now my 18k 411 is still a great bike and gets better the more I rode it !!
RE coming out with a adventure motorcycle , for the kind of load people will carry and hammering it will go through on rough terrain, with such heavy forces acting on a surprisingly thin chassis taking so much of load and u remove the cradle frame, thus add more load on the weak point. I am not supporting rumours but I think there could more such cases. it does not look good to me.
Why spreading unnecessary rumours without facts & data? Also why didn't you point out what Royal Enfield told about those incidents. Do you have the engineering blueprints of the RE Himalayan 452 to back your claim or just acting based on rumors?
The chains are still rubbish. My Meteor 350 has done 19,000 km & has significant stretch although at this point it will get away with adjustment. You can pull it away from it's seating position on back sprocket but not enough to worry about-yet. The batteries are also rubbish with mine already on replacement battery when I bought it. In my experience my 2 previous Himlalayan's I owned both needed new batteries within 1-2 years.

I hope to try one of the Triumphs at some point but it won’t be close enough to compare as such . Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
😂 .. Brits used to live dangerously but we are legislating any risk out of our life’s at the moment in the event it offends someone .. My mistake on the tubeless tyre . Hello! I could have a short try of it last week and I could compare with the 411 the same day! I had a XT550 and a 600XLR in the 80's and I want to find now something comparable with excellent suspensions travel. As a mono fan, I like all classic and Bullet models from RE. But I need an 2nd bike to complete my gsx1400 (🖤) for the mountain roads here in Switzerland. So this Himalayan compete with the CFmoto 450 MT that seems very good offroad, or even the CRF300L from Honda. I have to test these 2 bikes before making a choice. But the Himalayan is a 200% more sympathetic buy from this incredible country named India 🧡 The relsellers are very bad informed here about deliveries that seem to be problematic for now... Who has real infos ??? Thank you for your advices and your great videos 👍
@@michaelmam No they don't own the distributor. The problem is that they only get a handful of any new model bike at a time and I don't expect the 450 to reach Canada until the summer of 2025.

@@michaelmam If you think about it the 411 Himalayan is impressively smooth, especially considering the thing sounds like you're shaking about a tin can with some rocks and nails in it. Maybe it shouldn't be surprising that a similar displacement engine that revs much higher is more vibrational.

@@michaelmam that is true, I owned an MZ 301etz that funnily enough looks similar to this bike and that thing was unbreakable did everything you asked of it but damn it was ugly.
The Royal Enfield is surely a very expensive bike, compared to most Japanese offerings. The whole idea with buying an Indian-made Royal Enfield, was to buy a reasonably well-built bike at an affordable price. This bike is low-quality at an expensive price, I think.
Always good to hear from you . Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment again . Personally I don’t think it is that expensive and the quality is definitely higher than the earlier models . We are all different 🤷🏼♂️😂
I like your slightly different idea for a story about this motorcycle. It would be a nice machine, but its workmanship is so... Indian. It's so... basic. A good idea for bad Indian roads and wilderness, but in Europe there will be few motorcyclists who will ever go off the asphalt. The 450cc is sufficient off-road but on the road it will hurt. And it's not even about speed, but about constantly changing gears. I drove it and it was great off-road fun, but I didn't like the fact that any car could overtake me from the traffic lights and that I couldn't avoid any dangerous situation by running away. It's impossible with this motorcycle. To be clear; I do not like 900cc or more motorcycles. This is stupid. But 450cc is just not enough. If you really drive off-road, if you like to roll on back roads... often in terrible condition. If you don't care what this bike looks like or you like this style (🙂). If you feel uncomfortable on other motorcycles and you need something to commute a few kilometers to work. This is the motorcycle for you. It will be a good choice (only change the oil every 6,000 km). But if, like the vast majority of motorcyclists, you ride on asphalt roads, you shouldn't buy it.
In my experience ALL Royal Enfield’s are “Indian” . They sell 920,000 a year and the best selling model is the 350 single . The existing/ outgoing Himalayan is quite popular in the UK , which suggests to me that lower power bikes do sell to mature , asphalt based markets. 🤔 Whether the new 450 captures favour remains to be seen but if it doesn’t , it is I suspect, unlikely to be because it doesn’t have enough power .. Personally I am unlikely to buy either model but if I did , it would be the new one …
That's your personal opinion & In my view a very short sighted & ignorant one! This bike is cruising between 100-120 kmph, on the highway easily, with 20-30 kmph more on the tank to overtake! I don't know about you but for 95% people it's more than enough. And there is nothing wrong in Indian craftsmanship, if that had been the case then KTM, BMW, Royal Enfield & now Aprilia RS457 wouldn't be having a strong following & fan base.
I just bought a 2025 Himalayan in the same color as this. They are still pretty hard to get here in the US. Dealership told me that I am the first one to get one in my state.

Cheers. 👍
I nearly bought an SP , back in the day 👍 Have a go on the new Himalayan . You will probably like it !
I used to work for a Swedish motorcycle magazine in 1980, and actually rode the Suzuki SP370 for a couple of weeks, during winter. I liked the bike, and found it easy to live with. It was a good all-rounder, and always started on the first kick, even when cold.
I too wanted a thumper and couldn't afford it. Which is why this one appeals to me. I think I'm going to get myself one, before I change my mind.
@@quentinjackson6015 I remember those times I wanted an Xt500 too but couldn’t afford it so ended up with a Honda xl250s, I fondly remember the sp370 it was a great bike. Simpler times and definitely more pleasure able times.
A most interesting and informative review, thank you Michael. I'm intrigued and wonder what Enfield will do next with this new engine 🤔
Me too ! Historically they build a range around each engine . One thing I am pretty sure of is that they will have a plan ..👍
Thank you . I will have a ride out there . I think I may have ridden it on a none filming day and my Big Bore Interceptor 🤔

May I ask you your age?

I won't be hitting motorways at all, just mainly a & b roads, plus as much tracks & green lanes as I can find.

RE coming out with a adventure motorcycle , for the kind of load people will carry and hammering it will go through on rough terrain, with such heavy forces acting on a surprisingly thin chassis taking so much of load and u remove the cradle frame, thus add more load on the weak point. @@michaelmam definitely a great set of roads, we are lucky to have them on our doorstep. Are you going to ABR this year? If so I will look out for you and say hello
As always a very thorough review, although i would be interested to see how this compares to the 2 new 400cc triumphs as every day bikes.
I am sure the professional magazines will be doing comparison tests between the Triumph , maybe the CF Moto and this . I have made a couple of comparison videos but only on bikes that I own so that I can test them side by side , same roads etc . I hope to try one of the Triumphs at some point but it won’t be close enough to compare as such . Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
Considering what u pay, u get a lot of bike, or NOT?
@@Victor-ee8bh Value is subjective . If it is your sort of bike and suits your requirements , it is relatively inexpensive .. value .
If that 21 front is tubeless, does it have a safety bead or do the Brits live that dangerously?
😂 .. Brits used to live dangerously but we are legislating any risk out of our life’s at the moment in the event it offends someone ..
My mistake on the tubeless tyre . That one was tubed but you can pick one colour bike that has tubeless as standard and another colour has them as an option. Apologies ..
@@michaelmam all good, after I finally wear out my klr, I’m hoping to go to the himmy 450, but I’m tired of tubes, but would love to stay with the 21 front …

Thank you for your advices and your great videos 👍
cracking video :)
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Your voice and your demeanor in no way reflects the way you drive that bike on those small roads.
It is quite a “nippy” bike and is very at home on the little lanes . I was trying to capture it . I enjoyed riding it . Precise and predictable .
920 thousand bikes and you can't get the Himalayan 450 in Canada 😑😐😞
Any idea as to why that is ? Do they own the distributor in Canada ?
@@michaelmam No they don't own the distributor. The problem is that they only get a handful of any new model bike at a time and I don't expect the 450 to reach Canada until the summer of 2025.
@@guderian7795 That is a shame . Hopefully they will ramp up their efforts soon . I suspect there are a lot of trail roads in Canada that would suit this bike well ..
My only complaint, those KINGS stickers are Fugly.
They need to spend a little money on a better design if they want to advertise.
A tenere doesn't weight much more, might as well get that.
Rode a friend’s last year . Much taller bike and much more expensive . Be surprised if many tenere owners , considered a Himalayan and vice versa .. 🤔
True but why not have your own apache helicopter instead of a T7? I've seen a second hand T7 here for $19,000. The Himalayan is $9,000 ride away. No comparison
@@tazzjazz I already have a Apache helicopter, don't you ?
👌👌👌👌
I thought it was a good bike too👍
🇮🇹🇬🇧T. Y. Very very good! Bye c.

Thank you ..
@@michaelmam i have book it and wait for one and half month...
I tried one the suspension is far better, but the engine vibrations are excessive and i won't be purchasing one 😮
I found it ok . It does vibrate more than the less powerful previous model but I expected it . Each to their own and I respect your view 👍
@@michaelmam If you think about it the 411 Himalayan is impressively smooth, especially considering the thing sounds like you're shaking about a tin can with some rocks and nails in it. Maybe it shouldn't be surprising that a similar displacement engine that revs much higher is more vibrational.
@@Geshmaal I completely agree . More power = more vibrations 🤷🏼♂️ I think it is a very good bike . Others may disagree , which I respect 👍
It's a single. It will vibe some, especially on run-in. Get a Gold Wing.
@@markjacobs3956or an inline-6.
Your dash is broken, looks blurred
😂
besides engine vibration possible chassis breaking in half , i thinks its great lolz
Have you actually heard of any “chassis breaking in half “ or are you just speculating ?
youre wrong, royal enfield came out with a statement today that explains after market and badly mounted crash protectors were the cause of the chassis breaking. not the companies fault
@@michaelmam many instances including chassis breaking, bolts loosening, sprocket bolts shearing and many more.
@@vijan4772 I haven’t heard , nor seen anything so far , in the UK . We will see ..
@@vijan4772Don't go around with half naked knowledge, be responsible. Royal Confirmed that it was because of improper after market equipment & badly mounted crash protectors.

I don’t get many comments in latin 😀 Glad you enjoyed it and that you found it useful . Hopefully you get to test one soon to help with your decision .
I find new H450 very ugly. Just get Honda NX500 or CFMOTO 450mt.
Specifications and prices are factual comparisons . Looks, subjective opinions ..
See if I was to be in the market for an ADV it would be one of the few ones that I don’t find ugly
Good thing no one asked you for your opinion.
@@nesciusplayground you are noone
I think, it looks fantastic in slate with the blue or orange accents. And a full metal tank on an adventure bike of this size is a killer selling point.
why so much buzz for a 450 single cylinger on off bike?which is ugly also.i dont get it.its not a new xr400 or a dr400.if an xr600/650 come back or an xt600 i ll understand.now, for this i really dont get it
I like all of the bikes you mention but sadly none of them would get through European emission regulations today . Very different world .
I like the new 450 on its own merits but respect that it is not everyone’s type of bike 👍 Thanks for taking the time to comment ..
Because the engine is being used as a stressed member so can’t be isolated from the frame
Can’t get over the ugliness.
@@MrBigblue7 😂 Ah well , never mind ..
That tank is bloody ugly!!
@@chrro466 I think the bike is functional rather than beautiful but looks are very subjective . If you think it is ugly , for you , it is 👍

@@michaelmam good point , you should see my wife 😁
Whether the new 450 captures favour remains to be seen but if it doesn’t , it is I suspect, unlikely to be because it doesn’t have enough power ..
Personally I am unlikely to buy either model but if I did , it would be the new one …
@@michaelmamBecause fifty billion flies can't be wrong? 😂 We both perfectly know why this motorcycle is so popular.
@@podunkman2709enlighten us all with your insight ..
@@michaelmam the current 450 does 140kmph all day on the highway, and I mean 1000+km days, tested in Europe on German highways
