My Daddy wouldn't let me get my driver's license until: I could drive a stick, know how to change a flat tire, push start my truck and how to change my fluids. My 4 feet 11 inch tall Mama taught me how to do it. I can patch/string an electric fence in the dark. And I can make home-made chicken and dumplings with pecan pie for dessert.

🤣🤣🤣 You just described a situation my sister and I handled at my brothers concert. Sister is maybe 5’ tall & 90lbs soaking wet. I’m 5’4” tall and let’s just say more than 90lbs soaking wet. We were there with our over 6’ft tall husbands. Some drunk ass fool was bothering our brothers girlfriend. Being overly friendly even after being warned to back off. When he grabbed her rear end to the point his fingers were in between her legs, it was on! I started swinging at his head and my sister at his body. That boy (I say that because he was at least 15 yrs younger than us) got a beat down by two middle aged small women. He finally got away from us and went to complain to the bouncer. The bouncer saw us, we waved and smiled and the bouncer laughed and decided the drunk jackass was the one to leave the venue.

Rode it in the lane till 15 got learners permit and drove it to school. This was in 72. Bought 65 Volkswagen with babysitting money at 17. Rode horses to town for County Fair week. Slept in stalls with horse. First job. Changing tires and doing alignments ats tire shop for Uniroyal. Second job dozer operator for construction company. Third job worked at a large boarding stable cleaning stalls and grooming horses. For the Heinz Hitch. Then at 34 Landscaping in the field till 59 now Scalemaster at same company will be 66 this year . Yeah I think I'm a redneck. Lol. I have bought 2 houses on my own I have been single for 21 of those years. But its better this way. No drama. Spare time for Grandbabies. Thank You Mom and Dad. 7-8 years ago I was having bad episodes with gout. I said this is bull shit and went back to the old way's of preserving food. I still have a small bout with it every now and then but nothing I can't power through. We do not buy any processed foods from the store. We make our own Bacon, Ham, Corned Beef, Pastrami, Pickles, Sour Kraut, Tomato sauce, You name it. My wife makes bread for me (she don't eat carbs) we use very little sugar. We render our own beef tallow and pork lard. Bacon grease and poultry oil is always saved. For a few hours a week invested you too can be free of the tangle hold big corporations have on us feeding us poison! When we went to Sunday dinner at the Grand-folks when I was a kid they would go out and harvest a couple chickens and Grandma would fry them up. I don't eat chicken to this day because it don't taste right.

I am a redneck woman, though I live inside city limits. One thing you forgot is don't mess with her kids. You know how a mama bear is gonna protect her cubs no matter what, even if it means her own life. A redneck woman is so much worse! She ain't worried about her life because mama redneck is packing more heat than a Saturday afternoon redneck BBQ. I carry pepper spray, a taser, and a pistol, as well as a few pocket knives. I've been well trained in the art of self defense as I worked overnight security for over 3 years. I never lost a fight! Now, I take a lot of crap to stay out of jail, but God help you if you mess with my kids! Jail would be my own personal vacation if you hurt my babies! No amount of jailtime would ever be long enough to stop me from whooping your rear end into a bloody pulp. You see, redneck women understand that life is hard enough. She is gonna raise her kids to be just as strong as she is. But she will defend them into adulthood and even after. She didn't put in all that time and work for you to tear them down! You have been warned!

Our daughters’ dates were always afraid of me, even though I was nice to them. I always repaired my own cars/trucks (until I married a real man). While I presented attractively, men would be confused that I owned and was remodeling my own home and enjoyed using the chainsaw. It turns out that I was a red neck woman raised is the suburbs. Lol. I finally have acreage and live among my fellow rednecks and love it. My man thinks I’m awesome and we play on the farm together. Btw, he was city raised and loves this new lifestyle.

This is straight facts. My father made sure I could fix my car if it breaks down. Use a lawn mower, weed eater, axe, and to gather wood and start my own fire. My dad said he wanted me to want a man not need a man, because of this I have a wonderful man at my side who protects me, loves me, and supports me not because I need this, but because he loves me so much he wants to be the best man he can be for me. Women name their price and good men will do what needs to be done to become the man she wants, not because of needs, but because of love. Deep long lasting love, not to be confused with lust.

My 83 year old mom has never owned an automatic transmission vehicle. She made the salesman demonstrate, completely, how to change a tire on the last new car she bought back in 2001. Not a compact spare, a real spare, just to f*ck with him.

Love this video. But, other things redneck women "do" is they don't need to have the latest fashions to wear. Nor do they need fancy things such as big cars, big houses, all the latest kitchen gadgets, etc. We can make a meal out of macaroni and cheese with a cut up hot dog in it. (And, I love to cook and bake. Favorite is making fried chicken, lotsa butter - mashed taters, chicken gravy - not that smooth store bought shtuff, green peas, and, buttermilk biscuits - all homemade. BTW, have you ever eaten raw corn on the cob that's fresh - picked from th' garden, though? It is soooo delicious to me !!!) Plus, we are satisfied with having just basic stuff, only splurging, maybe, every once in awhile. TYSM for sharing this video with us. Love your enthusiasm in it. 👍😉

My dad taught me to survive. He drilled it into me from a young age. Which is good because at 8 years old I fell into a mostly frozen lake.
I was a quarter mile away from our camp. If it wasn't for the survival training my dad put me through I most likely would have froze to death.
As soon as I fell into the water I pulled myself backup onto the rock ledge, Climbed up the tree roots to get back to the path. At that point the cold had seeped to my core and I lost feeling in my arms and legs. My head started getting fuzzy.
All I wanted to do with sleep. But I kept hearing an echo telling me I had to get out of my wet clothes I had to keep moving.
I didn't have the strength to lift my head. I crawled the quarter mile back thrue pine tree roots sticks rock walls, Boulders.
I managed to inch crawl all the way back to my tent and fumble with the zipper not being able to feel my hands stumble inside the tent and get my wet clothes off.
However my dad cleaned up and the tent was empty and I had nothing to change into or warm up with.
At that point I didn't have any more stamina. I accepted my fate I did all I could to survive it wasn't enough.
I accepted the piece of the darkness that kept wanting to enclose around me. And I went to sleep not expecting to wake backup.
I felt my consciousness leave my body. I feel like I can see from up high my sister waking up my dad and finding me desperately trying to warm me up and wake me up.
Man I felt like my consciousness crashed back into my body, Has my dad woke me up dressing me in dry clothes. Bringing Warmth back to my limbs. Although I never completely felt warm again my internal thermostat broke.
My furnace froze. What amazing experience. At least I think so I think it's amazing that I survived that as young as I was.

My dad tried to raise me like that, but I resisted. True story: my dad is trying to explain how to garrote someone properly. Like, if it’s thick like a rope, a knot will help to put pressure on the neck. I’m looking at him and thinking “I’m ten. How do I explain to him that’s not going to work?”
I said, “I don’t think I have the upper body strength to do that.”
He blinked. Then he said, “PUT YOUR KNEE INTO IT.”
