I have a funny story for ya. I dated (and married briefly) a woman who thought she was a country girl. Within 6 months, I had my step kids helping me work a veggie garden, raising chicken, and canning food. Their mom thought they were too young for that kind of work (ages 8 and 10).
My step daughter fell asleep chewing gum and it got stuck in her hair. Her mom was ready to have her head shaved to get it out. I took a glass (yes, it was a mason jar), filled it with white vinegar, soaked the gum for a bit and washed it out.
On 4th of July, we made "firecrackers" with balloons, newspaper, and an acetylene torch (WARNING*** law enforcement doesn't like it when you do that!!!).
Needless to say, that "country girl" couldn't handle the life style (hell she couldn't even make blackberry jam... she made some real good blackberry rock candy, you just had to break it out of the jar 🤣).
Love your videos. Enjoy the redneck life!

Born and raised in NW Alabama and went to work in California as a travel RN. First people I met were rednecks! I was like heck yeah!
Mudding, hunting, fishing, partying, camping. A solid group that were loyal and there for each other.
Fast forward over a decade. I'm retired now, but I go back every year to Cali because of the solid, loyal friends that became family! We have a huge weekend party its a "framily" reunion! I have met rednecks all across the USA with my work.

Moose meat is really good. Makes a excellent chili. Add a bit of Maple syrup while cooking the moose Meat.
Caribou is also delicious. Best meat pie have ever had had caribou.
However a lot of hunted meat is lean. Deer, moose don't usually have much for fat. So you'll want to cook it With bacon grease, Or add some bacon or some fat to it.
If making ground meat just take some slices of bacon and grind it with the meat. This will help the meat stick together if you're making burgers.
mooseburgers, This topped with bacon and sauteed mushrooms and onions And a side of Fiddleheads with melted butter and salt pepper.🤤

Deer in florida taste like trash too compared to the ones where i grew up.
I grew up in Indiana where we raised our own cattle for my entire life before we retired and sold the farm.

I still raise a beef and 2 hogs a year, grow a huge garden, wife cans everything.

That last one. Rednecks are certainly athletic 2 an extreme.
My dad did bull riding, There's a picture of him doing a plank on top of the chimney of A 2 story farmhouse. He used to do ski jumping, You know those big Olympic jumps where they go flying in the air.
He had me jumping off of bridges and cliffs When I was younger than 10. Make sure your limbs are close to your body. Do a pencil dive feet 1st. You will regret it if any part of you sticks out at all. Anything that hits the water From that height, Ouch Especially if belly flopped.
When my dad was no longer part of the service of being a marine, He saw a iron workers construction site. He went up to the Foreman and asked him how he could get a job there.
They told them that you go to school you'll do this kind of stuff. And my dad's like I got none of that I can do this job. You can give me any kind of test and I will pass it.
The Foreman said alright You see that beam up there couple stories up. You have to walk across it with no safety line. My dad climbed up walked across one way. And then he walked back, Stood in the middle and he was like so do I have the job.
He really impressed the Foreman and got the job. The Foreman said we are impressed by you just walking crossed at once you didn't have to do it twice.
My dad became a legend in the iron worker Union. He's worked on the Golden Gate bridge, His dog's Zeke would be right up there on the beams working with him. He was aYellow lab retriever. He'd follow my dad up on the beams and carry his lunch Box.
My dad trained all his dogs to do stuff like that. He tell them to go get something and they'd come back with it. Such smart dogs. Once he asked him to go get his fishing Pole. The dog got right but this was a mistake. Because there is fishing line all the way through the woods. 😂
Well anyways, My dad's worked on a job where they were building a tower, And he was a Foreman at the top necting the Last bit which required use of a helicopter.
My dad can only see out of one eye. He lost the other and a fight when he got hittin ahead with a 2 by 4. He looks like a mix between Santa Claus and a Viking. And he could Drive backwards better than anybody going forwards.
He fell through ice on a pond and said here hold my beer, He didn't spill any of it when he fell in. That was Years before it became a joke.
    I miss you dad.

@@danielrupp7578 Nothing wrong with either being a hillbilly or a redneck. Both represent hard-core ethics and values, with family being valued the most. Hillbillies were more likely to say, hold my beer and watch this. While rednecks were usually more reserved. Both grew to cover more than just farmers and hill folk. Hillbilly, for example became synonymous with rural living. I simply stated a fact on the origins of the term redneck. And the fact that the two terms have been morphed into a single meaning.
For the record, I was a hardworking short-haired young man. Fortunately for me, after the initial burn, the sun just made my skin darker and my dark brown hair, nearly blonde. Then switched to truck driving for 39 years. Now I look like a late 60's era long haired Jesus freak, with a beard to match. Or a stereotypical hillbilly.

Bubba John is a name that comes to mind. Your pretty accurate with all this though. I'm a redneck(im more of a country boy though)that gave up hunting a long time ago and I stick with fishing the rivers these days. Don't keep anything anymore but we catch a lot. The older I got the less I wanted to kill anything. As I get older life is mote precious and not just mine. Rednecks are also smart. Can fix almost anything buy it may not be by the book. I fix cars and it takes some smarts figuring it all out. Maybe that should be your next vid. The difference between country boys and rednecks
