That's my all time favorite bike. But i like the ones that are a few years later, like 1986, 88, or so. Best bike ever made. I wish the F900GS was a boxer. People don't appreciate how well those cylinders protect you if you lay the bike down. And how they keep your legs and feet a little warmer in cold weather. Not to mention ease of maintenance and low center of gravity.

Looks excellent. There’s something about the red and white that just pops. Yamaha’s 2024 colourway for the XSR900 also has a nod to some Marlboro livery of old; more for the masses but certainly plays to that retro sentiment.
This is a beautiful build. Probably fun on a mountain pass.

The DesertX is a great bike in it’s own right
I saw the DesertX and had to own it. I'm back riding after around three decades away.
I've put over 8k miles on it in 7 months.

The suspension looks like after a jump from Gaston Rahier, the original Paris Dakar rally bike had more stroke.
