- Here it is ladies and gents, the custom BMW Bobber we built for Brad Pitt. Now delivered, you might spot him flying around the streets of LA on it.
This is a walk around video with Roughchild creator Robert Sabel and the ever useful, Simon Graham-Clare in an attempt to document and highlight the features and details in the build. Watch for more.

Now, that's what you call a Pitt Bike. Those BMW tank liners are a nightmare. Mine decided to come off in huge sheets AFTER I spent £££ having the outside of the tank sprayed and pinstriped. I used electrolysis to get rid of the rest of it and just run it bare. It's doing ok, but I do keep it as full as possible to prevent rust.
Thank you sir! I feel your pain. There are tank liner folk out there that can preserve the paint and get you setup with a new liner. I'd guess you're looking at a 10 year lifespan with no liner at all
Id love to try one of those internal throttles. Robert do you offer any test rides out of Bike Shed, Butterscotch, or your place in Pasadena? I can't promise I'll commission anything any time soon ( I just purchased a 20k bike) but I'm itching to try one of your bikes. Loving the content guys.

I like the conversion to LED, I didn’t notice it because the light seems very warm, Nice touch!

I don't think the alloy rims are the original ones from this bike because the R80 '85 rims do have a bit of a curved shape at the side. These rims are from a younger R80. I've both of them... that's how I know. You can actually see this at the still pictures.

It actually kinda looks like Brad Pitt somehow. If you have any instrument clusters for a 92 R100R in your discard pile I’d be interested.

For a guy that is desperately trying to find an unmolested 85-87 BMW R80 with such a limited run, these builds piss me off.
Good job we’re not here to serve you. However if you ask nicely, I have more than a few unmolested R80s stashed away. But you gotta ask nicely
