Best to just change egr valve get kit. PVC valve and new manifold intake. Must do service update after . Then no more egr clogs. I use 4 oz marvel mystery oil at every fill up. 3 88 for 16 oz at Walmart. Nice job!

On my Prius I bought window vents and I keep the windows down 3/8 of an inch to keep interior temperature down which in turn helps to keep battery temperature down just a suggestion!!!

Just want to confirm, at 400k miles there is no head gasket issue, no water pump issue, modest oil burning (1/2 Qt per 3000 miles), original traction battery, original brake pads, 50+ MPG. Correct? What a great car!
OK the car is at 401,000 miles now ! super busy going to make a video but yes I believe that the car needs a head gasket . Original traction battery oil consumption is about the same I replace the brake pads probably three times mostly due to rust.

I got a 2015 Prius with 115k miles on it right now. I'm hoping to keep it for a very long time since it's such a great car & maintenance is cheap. The 2010-14 burn oil but just refill as needed. You probably need to clean the EGR & intake manifold or replace them. You can probably get away with doing the transmission fluid change at 70k.

Oil changed every 4700miles. Major check up every 30000miles at the dealer I purchased it from. Never missed any maintenance check up because I love to take care of my "baby Prius."
