FYI, regarding the comment about age and ability to use a mill like this: many of us in our 60's who have been active throughout our lives are quite able to roll with this type work. I run a tree biz and at 64 still climb, run chainsaws and lift heavy objects. I see plenty of younger folk who wilt just from raking leaves. Running a sawmill is way over their capacity physically, and mentally. It is attitude. Not age. Just sayin.

How many hours do you have on your EZ Boardwalk 40 and how old is it?

Where did you get the older and laser for the mill. Looks decent but protrudes quite a bit

Have you ever replaced the Water Pump and Thermostat? That's why it happened. every 100k you need to change them

With the right wood and the 12-way wedge, can keep up with my 28C Magnum pkg for about an hour, then I slow down. Need two helpers when running the 4-way wedge so they don't get worn out.

Out of curiosity and based on your mileage, can you let me know if you used only Toyota red, not aftermarket red in your coolant changes?

I have a gen 2 Prius with 419k. 1 issue with the gen 2 Prius was a dash that goes blank because of a too small capacitor. When the dash was out the car will run but NOT record the miles driven. I replaced the capacitor and it runs fine but idk how many MORE miles the car actually has. It's the most unbelievable, reliable, fuel efficient car that was way ahead of it's time. Push button start, transponder in the pocket but still open the car, hybrid battery reliability back in 04, 05, 06......!

My 2016 needs a short block according to the dealer. 112,000 miles. $7,000 plus repair. My 2012 had to have the head gasket and another gasket done before 189,000 both maintained by the dealer. I'm very disappointed. Very.

If you haven't changed/cleaned your fuel injectors, highly recommend and pretty easy to do (made my 2005 with 215k miles car run almost like new)

I'm sitting in a cab with 530k km. I think it's burning coolant as well. These cars last forever if you maintain them and drive them easy. The one I'm driving should have been retired maybe a year ago because it's really worn down. The new 2023s look like they finally have enough power to last even longer if looked after. Amazing cars with amazing mileage and well engineered for sure.

A new, used engine is cheaper than messing with the head gasket.

Need to show it in action also may you should weight a script and rehearse. That was real hard to follow and get a clear idea of the mill. Not being mean but from that video I’m not interested 🤨. Good luck

I have a 2010 with 90k miles and doesn't consume a drop of oil in between oil changes I think I may have gotten lucky as I heard those years have issues with the rings and burning lots of oil

I have Prius 2011, Very close to yours 392.000 miles, I was hoping to hit the 400k mark but unfortunately.. Just yesterday we had a hail storm in Texas and my Prius was missed up. It really served me well. Indeed it’s the most reliable ride EVER. R.I.P my little baby 😢

Thanks for the review. It's hard to find much information on these mills. I used to have a Timber Harvester mill 20 years ago. The Timber Buddy looks like its much stronger and handsome older brother. Would love to see more footage of this mill in the future if your up to it.

Was the head still straight? I think OEM gasket is designed for flat/straight head. The description of Fel-Pro basically says it can tolerate a little warped head. I hope it can go another 400k🤞

Did you change the head gasket? Maybe try a Fel-Pro gasket and drive until 500k🙏

you can always drop a new (used) engine

I got broken headgasket at 175k, had to replace engine.

Question is. How much did you pay to 'maintain' it... you can keep putting money into a car and it will literally last a million miles.

Just throw it away !! And get a beautiful Teutonic German car instead. The German Engineering is still the BEST now !!!!!!

My 2011 Prius passed 220,000 mile mark a month ago. This is my 2nd used Prius (first one was totaled in an accident at around 170,000 miles). If you don't mind the low horse power and 0-60 MPH in 12 or 15 second, Prius is the cheapest and the most reliable car out there.

Did you change the transmission fluid? Toyota says it is lifetime. I want to know if it is in a practical sense.
