After watching a few videos I found this one that was helpful since I drive a 2010 Proud of myself !! 👌😊 Im looking fowatd to teaching my daughter basics as well. Thank you
Is it ok to add full synthetic oil after it had semi synthetic or a different kind of oil or does that mess up your engine? I can’t remember what was used at my last oil change.
@@chema8360 well if you find one with under 250 000 kilometer i would say its going to be good daily driver but the 2.4 litre version is little bit slow car even though it has 175 hp so its not sports car but it has everything you need in cars, ac, comfortable ride, low fuel consumption and cruise control.
my advice to you about that car is to trade it in for a toyota avalon. I have a 2014 dodge avenger with 100k miles, it runs fine but Im too big for it. Im looking at a 1996 avalon with only 80k miles and it will most likely last longer and it is more comfy. Go blackhawks! Go bears!
I have been trying for an hour to get the dipstick back into the hole of my 2013 Avenger that I just bought yesterday. I keep missing the hole and I can't see it under that cover. Is there some kind of trick to this? That is the reason I watched your video, but you put your camera down for that part. Is there any chance you can explain or demonstrate how to get the dipstick back into the hole? Thank you.
Probably the best straight forward video for the fluid check for this car on all of TH-cam
Awesome!. Now I know for what is for what under the hood
itsonlymyopinion ok yes he has help me a lot, I hoping he still has this car I have more questions

THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO ON CHECKING FLUIDS FOR DODGE AVENGER CARS ON EARTH!!! This helped so much.
This video is very helpful. Not joking around, no babbling, just pure knowledge. Thank you.

Thankyou for this video!!!
Super helpful thank you
Nice Video.
My car shows me the hand brake light while I am driving but there is some brake fluid in the tank, Should I fill it more I remove the existing one?
This helped soooo much thank you Omg
Where did you get transmission dipstick for this car. My car doesn't have one
I would ask auto parts store
Mopar
It’s a sealed system so you don’t have one. You have to service it by the transmission pan underneath the vehicle

I can’t remember what was used at my last oil change.
Drain it and then add a different oil

@@thelegendarywasdgamer9724 :( im afraid that 1500 dollars happen

i cant find anything to help with my V6 2011 dodge avenger
Thank you :-)
Do you still have this car? would you recommend it? Thanks!
I wouldn’t
I have a 2012 avenger. 189K everything still runs great. If I could keep this car forever I would
mines git 217 runs fine
@@dabully0072 really? Alright good cause I thinking of buying a 2014 one
For some reason I have everything else in the same spots except the transmission dipstick. Any ideas as to why?
Under the car
Check buy pulling a plug
So if it's at the bottom, how do you fill it?
You buy a special dipstick but you have to by a tool to check transmission fluid temp a obd reader will work with the right one
That's the same exact car I have 🤣
Do you still have this car? would you recommend it? Thanks!

Where do I add water? In the reservoir or the coolant area? (Where the pink stuff is held) lol.. my first car and I wanna learn about this car.

I believe you can add it in either. It needs both to work properly
Lol couldn't find the latch had to cut it!

2 years later and Fred is still trying to get his dipstick inside 😉
coolants orange for me
Why would my engine and transmission vibrate aggressively or just moderately that will end up vibrating my entire car.
that brake fluid looks like it needs flushed out
This isn’t a good or safe video, do not add transmission fluid with old, don’t mix, that will destroy your transmission
Didnt destroy mines
It will only destroy it if you add a different type of trans oil so only add atf+4 on this car

Great video 👍👍👍
Thank you! So much for this video...
