Your videos helped me a lot. I just returned from Cancun yesterday. No one asked for visitax payment, nor the piece of paper I got from egate scan. Others who traveled with me paid the visitax, different amounts, different websites.

I just returned from my seventh Cancun trip since they started visitax and I have been stopped zero times. I pay it -- it was about sixteen bucks / person. As it requires your passport number I can see how in the future they will know if you have paid or not when they scan your passport going through security.

Good advice, great video! When we walked into and out of the airport as if we were seasoned professionals. Only a few annoying types but we just smiled nodded, and kept stepping. We stayed at the Live Aqua, Cancun, in part based on your recommendations. You were spot on...we felt a good vibe at the resort, and it was worth every penny! Thank you for what you do!

you inserted into this video at the 01:30 mark; not permitted to bring more than 1 liter of alcohol into Mexico. In reality, Mexico allows//permits each person entering the country to bring//import 3 liters of alcohol//liquor.

Great video! Thanks for the update! Quick question, does the Mini Mart have full service grocery items or is it just snack life things? And if not, if I book with Nacho tours do you think they can accommodate stopping to a grocery store before taking us to our resort?

I gleaned a great deal of knowledge from your excellent past Cancun airport videos. The package we had gave us private transfers via Amstar. The drivers were great, but it was a zoo trying to get out of the airport, return to the airport was a breeze. I'll book Nacho tours next time because I don't want to deal with the chaos at the airport. I'll also use them for some touring around the area during our stay. We stayed at the new adults only Margaritaville Resort. It is a great spot for us, it's a smaller resort with great food and the Key West vibe Mexican style. The only downside is the lack of a beach. It's on the water but only a couple of feet of beach. I really want to thank you for all the wonderful videos you have posted.

Thank you for the detailed videos; esp regarding transportation. When you use Nacho Tours, approx. how much is it for two people to be transported to a hotel approx 35-45 minutes away (Secrets Maroma) to be specific. We just want to make sure we are not getting manipulated when booking in advance. Thank you!
Private I think it would be around $100 each way. Maybe a little more depending on time of day. But check with them. They give you a free quote

Flying into Cancun next Friday! We booked Nacho and so far have had a great experience with communication with his team! Does the mini-market and Margaritaville take US Dollars? And do you ever bring Pesos on your trips?

Going to cancun in June, i know its gonna be hot and humid. You mention to get Sun block at the mini Market. Are they worth buying or should i bring some from my local store CVS? Did you had mosquisto bites during your trip to cancun?

I’ve heard there is heightened security with a LOT of people flagged for intense searching through luggage and sniffing dogs, too. Is this true?
Not when we went!
How strict are they with liquids? For example, would the small Calpak toiletry bag be OK in a carry-on? Just wondering from your experience going through this airport. I know this would just be your personal experience and I can’t hold you to this and my experience could be different
I’ve Never had an issue and usually have a few ziplocs of liquids. Just take them out of your bag before putting the through security scanner
They are very strict with liquids on Cancun departure thru security check. Really really strict. You are warned. Arriving in to Cancun your luggage don’t go thru a scanner so there’s nothing to catch you on. Sunblock will cost you $35 at the resort! Also, it’s not mentioned anywhere but they won’t let Uber pick you up at the airport. Might even threaten the driver! Taxis are at war with Uber. As of 10/2024. You can take a Uber back to airport to depart though. $15. No one will stop that or care. Don’t use Nacho to go back to airport! $100! Also, if staying at hotel zone, there’s red or orange buses that do nothing else but ride up and down the strip. 12 pesos per ride! So cheap! Use it. Just don’t ride or drive at night. Sketchy.

I arrive in Terminal 4 and have to meet the rest of my group in Terminal 3. Is it just as easy as grabbing a airport shuttle between terminals or do i need to book a private shuttle to terminal 3

We left Cancun a month ago very early in the morning, and we were so tired we forgot all about it. I never saw a sign or a person asking about it.
You say at time stamp 1:40 not to bring more than 1 litre of alcohol but I have always read that 3 litres was permitted. Has it changed recently?

Yes it varies based on time of day and year and how many people. That’s why they give you a free quote so you can shop around. It’s worth paying for reliability and safety in Mexico
Did you pay the visitax?? Did anyone even mention it at the airport?? I just left a comment on your older visitax video. I came back from Cancun April 6th and prepaid the tax before leaving Canada and absolutely no mention of it in anyway shape or form at Cancun airport neither arriving or departing.
I paid it but yes I know there is not one checking it
Just returned yesterday. Paper with qr code 2 link had 1 price, went to website 2 pretend 2 pay, different price. Multiple links given when others found not to work. No one inquired of me.

Help! Going to Mexico first week of June and flights are so expensive, round trip almost $700. That’s crazy! How close to the trip do you book flights? I’m using Google Tracker to keep an eye out but is there a better way?
Usually 8-12 months out are the best deals. Unless you are going during a slow period.
I know!! Flight prices there have been very expensive! Google tracker is best. I usually try to do 6-9 months out

Prices are terrible at Cancun airport for everything!! Even duty free is awful. I'm from Canada the home of the most over priced alcohol just about anywhere and I can buy Mexican Tequila cheaper in Canada than at Cancun duty free.

Hi, i went booked my holiday in Cancun and went to there with all necessary documents. But they are shit immigration in the world. They return me back. I have wasted my ticket snd hotel booking etc. even they did not give me any reason why they not giving me entry. Whem i asked they says come next time. What a joke😂. I am a Pakistani citizen and travel half of world 🌎 now. But never seen such idiots immigration.
I think it is pretty nasty and dangerous to make such a terribly wrong and misleading guide. What you are saying is simply wrong. I went through customs and migration yesterday and it was pretty much the worst experience I have ever had. You are claiming they are occasionally screening your luggage? They checked the luggage of everyone by hand and and looked at all items, touched everything etc. The migration process was a nightmare. I had to wait 3 hours in a q and the officer didn't understand a single word of english. I endes up getting 10 days even though my flight back goes in 35 days.
Look at the google reviews of the Cancun airport migration office. Its a horror movie. I was actually lucky.
I wish someone would have warned me before. People like you made me have this terrible experience.
Did you check in a bag?? I’ve never checked one in and encourage people to do the same just for this reason.
