Just in case you’ve not seen it you should try Upgrade from 2018 starring Logan Marshall Green, it’s a futuristic film that should appeal to you if you like blade runner etc
If you enjoyed Eight Days a Week, you might also like 100 Girls (or possibly 100 Women as well). It’s from the same director and has a similar feel to it. It’s one of my all-time favorite movies discovered by blindly flipping through the movie channels on cable back in the day.
Happy Christmas from 2014 with Anna Kendrick is great and somewhat forgotten. I think it would be up your alley if you haven't seen it. Great video as always big dawg, Merry Christmas!
Dawsons Creek is awesome. I have the entire series on DVD in this large hardcover booklet type thing. If I could share a photo I'd show you it because it's awesome and the artwork is really cool.
@@thelastmoviestanding No, my podcast @strangeglowvideo used to be a lot more active lol, we interviewed Greg Sestero once too, and Jason Patric, a few random ones, you can find them over there in the guests playlist.
Dawson's Creek is fantastic but for some reason I could never get past season 5 when they go to college. It loses me every time there. And yes the original music is a must!
The recent 2024 Criterion "The Faculty" Blu-ray Re-master & 4k UHD Combo release is pretty awesome ...so you might want to do a review when you have the opportunity. 🙂
There was only one first watch of 2024 for me that I liked: "The Land Before Time." I was also born in 1987 and I heard about this movie when my step sister was into them, so I thought they were dorky. I love this movie. I bought two copies of the blu-ray. And FYI, plenty of nudity.
You're making me want to watch Dawson's Creek, which I never thought I would say... Have you seen The O.C.? That's a good show that is probably pretty similar to Dawson's Creek.
If you like Katie Holmes, I recommend The Gift starring Cate Blanchett. I have Looker on DVD somewhere and now I need the blu ray. My first time watch old movie of 2024 was Bringing Up Baby... I can't believe they had a jaguar in the movie!
Dude can’t wait to watch Eight day a week! Also I highly recommend the show “Don't Trust the B---- In Apartment 23” it’s hilarious and James Van Der Beek is so freaking awesome in it.
Have you watched One Tree Hill, absolutely loved that show and another one you should check out is Alias. I bought the Boxsets of all the seasons of those when they aired on tv way back
I liked Zapped as a little kid, I might watch it again even though Scott Baio is f**king annoying! I wanted to buy Dawsons Creek on Blu-ray but I heard the video quality was DVD quality. If you think it’s Blu-ray quality I’ll definitely buy it. I trust your opinions.
I think when I started my movie during this year - 520 - I thought I would really enjoy '70s movies. Oddly enough It's been my least favorite decade of movies. I think it's probably a toss-up between '50s and '80s for me this year. My biggest let down this year was Taxi Driver.
I’ve been rewatching a ton of old vhs just to find trailer of stuff I never saw. Looker has been on my radar for a while. James Coburn is phenomenal.

@@thelastmoviestanding I thought I was the only one, it makes me happy. I find my self smiling and immediately trying to find the film.

I got to interview Billy Wirth from Body Snatchers, mainly cause he was in The Lost Boys. Fun movie.

Sword in the Sorcerer from 1982 wowed me when I saw it for the first time just recently, that I had to get the 4k from shout.

@Lastmoviestanding, do you have the complete series of ‘Wonder Woman’ with Lynda Carter? How about ‘Game of Thrones’?
Payback was so freaking good! Miss old Gibson! Ha
Albert Finney in Murder on the Orient Express 👍

The scenes at the end of season 1 with "I'll be" by Edwin McCain is straight 🔥
“I’ll be” makes any scenes level just going up lol

Dawsons Creek!!! Love that show! The dialogue is ridiculous but the story was good

That's a solid classic... I can't believe there are like 14 movies in that franchise or something like that lol
You're making me want to watch Dawson's Creek, which I never thought I would say... Have you seen The O.C.? That's a good show that is probably pretty similar to Dawson's Creek.
Great video, dude! I love Dawson's Creek. Im jealous you get to experience it for the first time.

Summer Camp Nightmare 1987. I have it on VHS. It needs a blu ray. World Gone Wild is another one only on VHS. Most people haven’t seen either
70s movies solution is diner food while you watch.
