To be fair, he said this was a discord server for people new to Pokemon with gen 8. Zoroark and Zorua were only added with the dlc. It's not that far fetched to just not know what Zoroark does.
People are just complete idiots when it comes to figuring out if a Pokémon is a disguised Zoroark or not. First you have team preview, so you can see the Zoroark in their party and the Oddish at the end of their party, then you have dark-type moves it can’t learn and for some reason u think their hacked, and then you have their Pokémon’s attacks being “Not very effective...” when they are supposed to be “Super effective!” Or at least do more damage. Is it that nobody knows Zoroark sweepers exist, do people not know Zoroark exists or has a signature ability?

@@9twisted hacked pokemons can be legal and ilegal, dont listen to anybody, if you get legal hacked pokemons its ok, even for online battles, legit pokemons are the normal ones and not hacked, in the hacked section there are legal and ilegal, legal ones are allowed to be used as legit pokemons even online, as they dont have any advantage over a legit pokemon, but ilegal pokemons are the hacked pokemons that have stats modified that the legit version dont have, and attacks it could not learn, even more than 31 ivs on the stats and more than 252 evs, but for example the hacked pokemons of the video were legal, because if they were ilegal the game itself will not allow them to be used onlime.

To be fair, his reasoning was sound. An oddish that's immune to psychic moves AND can use hyper beam is pretty suspicious. As far as I remember nobody really uses Zoroark often enough that it's tricky ability would come to mind immediately.

Little did he know that he fell for a deception that was obvious to spot when Psychic did no damage, Oddish knew Nasty Plot and could fire a Hyper Beam.
Symptoms that it is a Zoroark: -
1) Nasty Plot
2) Psychic type immunity
You know you are too good when you have to use an oddish to keep it fair against a team of legendarys

Max defense and special defense, for dealing with steel types (plus special defense is a. ninetales’ best stat), idk where to put the remaining four...
Snow warning ability (cuz hail is op)
Moves: dig, cuz it’s the only moves alolan ninetales gets super effective against steel types...
Dazzling gleam, for STAB
Aruora veil, for more bulk
Blizzard, since blizzard bypasses accuracy in hail. So that’s a 165 base power move (due to STAB) that can’t miss.

Zoroark was honestly one of gen 5's coolest pokemon in my opinion, and it's always fun to see the shenanigans some people get to with it by using the fact that most people overlook it against them. Maybe you could pay tribute to another overshadowed gen 5 mon and sweep with Bouffalant. I know a lot of people just call him "Discount Tauros", but they're pretty different. Bouffalant actually has a higher base attack and is more of a slow but bulky attacker, having base 95 in both defense stats as well as HP.
This one was the most chill sweep since the player wasn’t toxic _for now_
