Mindanao is where that violence was happening no? Kidnappings and bombings etc. Crazy because when you got off the ferry it was absolutely beautiful...a tropical paradise.
Don’t forget Mindanao is big, bombing as you say happened in some part , my husband is an American we went to the last island, but there was no incident of any violence. Besides there’s no war among except what happened in Marawi.

As I sit here crying writing this because I feel her pain I feel like it would be appropriate to share her story on TikTok, Facebook Instagram in TH-cam and start a go fund me for her so her and her mom can get a wheelchair accessible legitimate house and or the ones he lives in now but fixed up by 98% I feel so bad that this handicapped woman in a wheelchair is laying on a wood bed frame with no mattress in a piece of plastic of some sort over the top. Her body must hurt she must be in pain I have no where is comfortable to lay at all, it breaks my heart to see this. My son is half Filipino and his father’s mothers from the Philippines and went through the same struggle growing up until she moved to the US because she got married from someone to the US so she was able to come over here and her life growing up she went through the same stuff and it is so sad and heartbreaking to know that they go through this when the government could help people like this, so they weren’t poor and hungry in living in a house made of sticks literally breaks my heart

I got you brother.i guess she has a big chance of standing on her own feet again although it got many years but i think here determination and courage can help here again i knew someone somewhere in manila who could help her if we could give a try.
I'm so happy that she found her father because I know that she would be devastated if her father rejected her.. I have an adopted cousin from India and somehow she was able to find her biological mother who wanted nothing to do with her. Our family has never looked at her any different than anyone else from our family and she has always had love from everyone. Hopefully Marlyn can find someone to love her for who she is and not look at her because she's in a wheelchair. She seems like such a beautiful person but I know that she has been through so many things that have had to cause her to be depressed.
If it isn't too impractical because of the distance or Marlyn's condition, it would be nice to arrange a day trip to the beach for her and her mother. Speaking of Marlyn's mother, she should receive help too. She has spent 26 years sacrificing for her daughter's care in their difficult living conditions. May the Lord bless them both.
