Yes Dorcas, the girl was kidnapped in ikeja, Lagos. A few minutes to my house. She entered a government bus and was kill.ed.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. I'm hoping to get more money and plan my exit because it's not easy. Everyday we live in fear. Currently there's no electricity, no water, no diesel, no pertol. Some aeroplane aren't flying again. It's crazy. Dorcas please DON'T COME BACK TO NIGERIA🇳🇬💔💔💔💔💔

As an Australian, I can say that the Philippines is the best country in the world. Apart from the physical beauty, it comes down to one thing, the Filipino people. Disaster after disaster, they pick up the pieces, laughing and joking as they rebuild their houses and their lives, as seen last December in the typhoon.
Yes, there was a lot of heartbreak and misery in the days and weeks following, but done is done and life goes on, the Filipino spirit is unbreakable.
Meanwhile people in rich western countries are constantly depressed, complaining loudly every day about every small inconvenience, turning human issues into political footballs, waiting for someone else to clean up the mess.

Great comment. If only current Pinoy immigration laws were as welcoming as us Filipino people. And we can definitely use new immigrants-especially those building businesses. Many Pinoys migrate out as job seekers. It would make sense to replace them with immigrants who are job creators. Apparently, the Philippine immigration law hasn't really been drastically changed since the 1940s and 1950s.

The Philippines is already overpopulated even with all the millions of OFWs living abroad. The immigrant job creators you are referring to are mostly small-time entrepreneurs. The big-time foreign companies that do provide substantial labor opportunities are few, because it is too expensive to do business here in the Philippines. Water & electricity are expensive, salaries here are expensive, and corporate tax is not attractive. Instead, they go to China, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
The foreign immigrants who do come here in the Philippines are mostly vloggers looking for clickbait money.

Hi Dorcas. So sorry to hear about the situation in Nigeria right now. And that poor girl in the bus. 😢 I take a govt bus too every day and night so the story really hits hard. Where's your hometown, btw? Are you from Lagos? I thought the southern half of Nigeria was pretty safe and it was the north that was more troubled. How's your family doing? Hope they can get out and you can be reunited here in PH for your peace of mind.

I've been to Nigeria a couple of times from my travel as seaman. One was in Lagos and found it more behind than our country. It's quite scary to go outside because of so many people around the city. I'm not judging your country, and quite lots of garbages every where, our country has also have some problem with peace and order, garbages is also big problem here but in Nigeria it is more worse. I hope it won't hurt your feelings. My comment was based on what i saw in your country. Good that you like our country and your comment is very positive.

That's why I prefer Duterte and Marcos' authoritarian rule instead of LP's American style democracy. In both leaders' term, terrorists were being eliminated relentlessly. During LP's time, terrorists were maintained in the name of democracy.
