Sillybutts is also developing the 3d-printed "Party Popper" which uses CO2 gas cartridges. i like this cheaper to use springer though. i personally woulf try to keep the round 40mm revolving drum because of how classic it looks
I think he might’ve stopped development on it and passed it on to Superstressed. Silly has mentioned on Discord that he’s making a springer version though, maybe it’ll be with his new shell economy.

idk, i rushed to the comments to say it is in fact a grenade launcher. mega XL is the updated "grenade" for nerf as is. if it shoots it, that qualifies.
I also got introduced to the Grenade Laucher thanks to Terminator 2, but also the movie that got me crazy into Grenade Launchers was the first Predator film. Another games with seriously cool Grenade Lauchers are FarCry 2, Army of Two:The 40th day and Timesplitters 2 (especially the last one which can fire incendiary grenades as the alternate fire mod.) This one looks like it is easier to carry with one hand, the Fortnite one is huge and doesn't include a trigger system.
If only someone could make the Halo Reach Grenade Launcher, imo that has been my favorite iteration of grenade launchers next to the demoman's stock grenade launcher
I was hoping we'd get to see what the FPS was for different ammo types since the shape and size of the different darts could affect performance that being said, _MAKE THE BUILD, IT SOUNDS LIKE IT'D BE AMAZING_

Simple fix you could use 40max shells, but then ultimately it would be an airsoft blaster I guess. It also seems like you only want to keep the "drum". I've been kicking this around in my head awhile myself, nothing like a street sweeper.
So, on the end you just needed the 40 mm revolver cylinder as the whole back end is gonna be classic N-strike and the front end is too real steel? I don't get killing the trilogy just for the front, you can add a pump & tank to it (not a whole lot of room but doable I think).

The 3 dart shotgun is basically what's called a hornets nest in real steel and airsoft.. real steel has a 1022lr rounds in it and when you pull the trigger it shoots all of them in airsoft those 22 lr rounds are replaced by 6mm airsoft bb's and there's anywhere from 60-120 of them
Using a granade launcher as a shotgun is not exacly unrealistic, in guns like the china lake and thumper there was basically a 40 mm shell that converted the whole thing in to 12 gauge, so you can use it with out exploding yourself at close range

The nerf Fortnite version actually takes nerf rockets but I prefer the one in this video maybe someone out there has made a custom mod version of the nerf one to make it more realistic looking

I'd say go for it, need to see a mod stream or two in creating The Fluxinator Foam Flinger. Long it can fling a few foam rockets.

I actually own a real steel M32, it’s fun to use at the range, although it was pretty pricey, but it was so worth it

Problem with revolver style blasters is none of them shell eject, so you spend so much time loading, unloading, and reloading for such low capacity.
but it was an effective solution to firing multiple shots before shell ejection. plus cool factor

If you need more than 6 grenades fired semi-auto, you're probably doing something wrong. Should have plenty of time for reloads after that.😅
The satisfaction of the while reload process is entirely worth it.
The real m32 dosent have shell eject you take each one out 1 by one and load 1 by 1 so...

There is a single shot kit that you can buy from m416gelblaster. I have one on the way. That with a spring upgrade should be pretty good
