This is one of my largely uncut videos where you will crucially see and hear what I say to the athletes when they are training - coaching cues and corrective points, for example.
This is a progressive session which was designed to improve sprint form and power and potentiate for specific subsequent long and triple jump techncial work.
When it comes to the technical part of the session I only show part of what we did due to the length of the video. Look out for videos which focus on the long jump take-off and triple jump hop in future.
The session has 3 units.
1.15min: Unit 1 Basic med Ball Drills
1.17min: Ex 1 Med ball overhead march
1.42min: Ex 2 Step back lunge with med ball
2.09min: Ex 3 Fast single leg squat with med ball
2.34min: Ex 4 Alternate take-off hip swing with med ball
2.57min: Sprint posture rear side sprint mechanics drill
3.44min: Unit 2

6.40min: Ex 11 Scissor-cycle-scissor-cycle with med ball
7.30min: Ex 12: Scissor-alternate skip-scissor-alternate skip with med ball
8.00min: Ex 13 Runs with med ball and runs without
8.29min Unit 3 Technical Work
Long jump take-off + triple tump hop

Great stuff. It shows the value of an experienced coach and how you are able to spot tiny deficiencies in form.
Many thanks - yes. I do get asked how I see certain things and I guess some of it is innate, but I know what I want to "see". And I've done many of the drills, for example, myself which does help (especially when the athletes, tell me I'm not doing it right!).
