      I wish I could give a standard set of numbers but I wouldn't want to put out instructions that doesn't work for the majority. I use a set of numbers and adjust it based on a series of assessments I do with my athletes.

    Tips I’ve taken from the best:
    •Always lift hips before leading leg
    •Never drop hips (speed killer)
    •Lean torso forward when running to keep center of gravity
    • Run with toes up to activate ankle dorsiflexion

  • @DiamondCarn

    Hi I have a really burning question what if you have decent enough or great technique but still run slow times , like I am a college sprinter I have decent enough technique but my times are slow others girl run so weird and different than me but are drastically faster what is it , I can’t find the answer ?

    • @TheSprintProject_
      @TheSprintProject_  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The reason why is because technique is not everything. This is only 1 part of running fast. You could have perfect technique but you also need power, elasticity, and speed maintenance among other variables. You can send me a message on IG or check the description for more.

    All I did was increase stride width & voila, went from 11.05 seconds to 10.67. All these drills r tailored to a certain style. None of it really made a difference for me. Sprinting is about getting ur legs out from under u with efficient stride frequency, with matching leg & ankle stiffness otherwise all that force dissipates. When I increased the width of my stride it allowed for a less hindered leg turnover & increased leg stiffness when striking the ground. Experiment with a buncha methods til u hit that spot
