I had this exact problem yesterday. No rain, no water leak, my 2001 w203 was running, suddenly "display faulty, visit workshop" pops up, SRS light up, park brake indicator lıght up, high beam indicator light up. Internet forums say CAN communatication problem . But why? How?, Solution?
Maybe it got shorted or u could need a Sam and it needs to be reprogrammed. See where it’s the location and see if u can find any evidence like water spill or corrosion.

Onlythefinest100 in my case I fixed the leak first n it’s was summer time so all the water evaporated caused it was hot outside then after week or so all the features started to work. At fist few things started to work then later on everything were working.
@@Pali106 Mercedes has been plagued with massive quality problems for the last 25years. I wasn't trolling, the cars have become shit. I have one. Trust me, a 1989 Mercedes would NEVER have a water leak. When I dump mine, I will never have another.
@@terrencetaylor8196 I had this exact problem. I was amazed the entire car was freaking out because the fluorescents on the speed indicator went bad. That's just stupid.

Usually srs light needs to be scanned and cleared, removing the negative terminal might not work as well

Changing a battery wrong could cause that. Hmm it's very hard to diagnose these. U can find a wiring diagram and see what SAM controls.

Well I know for sure the w220 I bought was a flood car so this just may solve my problem
