Maybe it got shorted or u could need a Sam and it needs to be reprogrammed. See where it’s the location and see if u can find any evidence like water spill or corrosion.

Is the fuse open? If it’s open u need to replace it. Then if it still no start. U have to check for spark and fuel and so on ….

I don’t think so, cause i don’t think it will go through alternator and charge the battery but what u can do is when u do the bypass then check the voltage and see if u have 14 If u do then it might make it to your garage but if I’m not making mistake I don’t think it will be charging

Sorry for late reply, I doubt it, but in my case there were no airbags that were deployed but the airbag light was on and rear seat belts were deployed but again it’s very easy to check that fuse with a test light and make sure that it’s not open

Check if it’s wet around the sunroof if so then one more drainage of the sunroof could be clogged. If the headliner is not wet then the sunroof drainage is not clogged. But if if it’s clogged use compress air to clear it . It should have 4 different drainage hoses for sunroof. I don’t have the car anymore other wise I would show it.

@@mraatmm the headliner is not wet at all. It's just in the foot rest like a 6 inch accumulation only on the back seat . Not the ac cleavage or the front windshield

@@davidsanz7766 get some hot water and pour it in that drainage pipe by the battery. And look at the bottom of the car if it’s not completely clogged u will see some water drips coming out. Or if u have a compress air and air nozzle just press some air in that pipe if it’s clogged it should clear it .

Once u connect it , it will not come off unless someone tries and pulls on it. The reason it came out in first place I think it had a new battery so the guy who replaced it, it must have hit it accidentally. I don’t have the car anymore but u can pour water and watch it pour to ground after that part

Well why don't you do the test that I did in the video to make sure the fuse is open then replace it cause if I'm not mistaken if that fuse is open I don't think you will get a crank anyway. Once you find out that fuse is ok and still no crank then make sure your battery is charged and check fuse and relay to starter if everything checks good then check power to starter if u have power and still no crank then it must be a starter

Changing a battery wrong could cause that. Hmm it's very hard to diagnose these. U can find a wiring diagram and see what SAM controls.

Usually srs light needs to be scanned and cleared, removing the negative terminal might not work as well

I'm not 100% sure but I doubt it, that fuse breaks open during accident so If it hasn't been in an accident, most likely that fuse is good. But to be sure u can just do the test light test that I did in this video.

Battery overload protection fuse, u can get it from dealership, Amazon maybe even eBay.

It shouldn't blow the new fuse, just replace the fuse while negative terminal on the battery is disconnected. And you should be fine.

If it's a 2L engine I don't think it has one but if it's a 3.2L engine it has one by right rear of luggage compartment. I think

@@mraatmm you are correct. Does my turbo A3 have something similar that would make it not start. I removed the radiator structure core including unbolting the airbag sensors that bolt to the core. Thanks

Is your vehicle X5 2005. Cause on some vehicle you have to change the whole valve cover. Plus the cap I'm using it's a female end.

Well on my X5 there is a plastic cover on the right side that has to be removed. After removing grill. Yours should be same.

Nells Biggavell ok, it has 2 locks one cable, once u remove the grill u can see a cable there u pull on that cable, n then on the right side if u r facing the car the is a plastic cover that needs to come out. Once u remove the cover u need a needle nose pliers to push the cable. So 2 locks for one u pull on cable for other u push on cable with pliers
