Take a ride on Bizarro the first steel sit down floorless roller coaster by Bolliger & Mabillard which used to be called Medusa from 1999 to 2008. Then in 2009 it was changed to Bizarro. Bizarro has a height of 142 FT, drop 132 FT, 7 inversions, & speeds up to 61 MPH at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey.

It can not go backwards. A few seats were bolted on backwards one time on Bizarro for employees only however the ride had shown to be way to intense for the human body to handle. Therefore not allowing the train to be completely rotated

Oreoluwa Akinbo in El Toro’s defense, you get to the top quicker and it isnt as tall as Nitro but I still love both of them. Im going there next week and best believe ill be in the front row AGAIN 🤣

This is by far my favorite rollercoaster at six flags, such a comfortable ride without that head shaking crap and just fun overall. It’s such an amazing rollercoaster

my favorite ride, ill admit that i closed my eyes for a lot of it the first time but its really not as bad as it looks- its a lot longer than i thought it was gonna be though. very smooth ride. my head and legs were fine, nothing hurt, i wasnt getting whipped around and i didnt get any stomach feeling. would recommend. :))

Went on this scared as hell. My legs were shaking. I legit fought the guy trying to get me in the seat cause I didn’t know if I wanted to do it anymore. I then sat down cause I felt bad cause this is my moms favorite ride and she really wanted me to come with her on it. Like super bad. That was the only thing she was talking about all car ride. On the first drop I almost screamed but realized that it was over. It was so fun and amazing. I recommend it to people who don’t like huge drops but like loops and twists and stuff like that . 🤯

Bizarro is great, This is my top 5. I love every aspect of this ride.
i like how everyone just made up the idea that bizarro is closing, first that would be stupid and it would make more sense to close batman 2: they aren't closing anymore coasters for the next i say about decade, and 3: if they were to close it should be Green lantern:)
***** Rumor is, that is the stupidest idea on the planet to pack up the first, and one of the best floorless coasters in the world to sf america. and 2 it is almost in its own "Bizarro world" and has one of the best themings in the park, so don't listen to those stupid ass rumors.
I hope it closes and moves to SFSTL. SFGADv has five B&M's... you guys practically wipe your asses with gold toilet paper. Thats how I view your lineup. If a multi looper like Bizarro is your first choice for disposal/sacrifice, and other six flags are still starving for their first major coaster, than there is a big problem. Darien lake and the great escape still don't have B&Ms even.

One of the smoothest coasters, very fun and refreshing when you hit that water mist.
I just went to Six Flags Great Adventure today and Bizarro was my favorite coaster! It's so much fun since it's quite smooth and the longest you'll ever wait in line is 45 minutes since it sits 32 people and it's all the way in the back! If you are going soon I totally recommend this ride!

Best ride hands down. If you ever make your way down to New Jersey, DEFINITELY go on superman, bizarro, batman, king da ka, skull mountain, and log flume is always a great way to end your day!
I went on all except for log flume and Kingda Ka of course
B&M coasters are best of the breed. Smooth and quiet tracks, heavily contorted elements with great fear factor and superb aesthetics and thematics. They really know their stuff.
This was my first ever rollercoaster and it’s a great starting rollercoaster if you are scared of them like i was☝🏽

I did this ride for the first time yesterday and honestly it is a really good starter coaster. It’s not too intense but definitely thrilling at the same time. Definitely would recommend especially if you wanna conquer the bigger rides!

I road it like 12 years ago when it 1st opened as, 'Medusa,' and it was a great ride back then! Now I see it was repainted, etc., and given a new name! I checked it out but did not ride it my last trip! Maybe the next visit?

This is my cool down I'm about to leave the Park roller coaster, I could go on it three times in a row, it's just easy peasy.
i’m terrible with rides and this was the first real roller coaster i’ve been on. I did not feel sick or anything, I actually had a pretty great time. I went on 2 more times after this. Would definitely recommend. It’ll be worth it and over before you know it!

I forgot how much Bizarro and Kumba in Busch Gardens are alike... and I don't understand why they planned Great Adventure out to have such an amazingly themed, fun, fast, and generally great ride out of the way. All of the other major roller coasters are right next to eachother in the front/middle of the park and this one is all the way to to the left.. confusing
Hidden jewel of the park! What could be better than a super smooth, fast, floorless coaster with 7 inversions?!
Only downside is that you don’t really get that much airtime but I still like this better than everything else in the park. With its location practically hidden behind the gondolas and Mine Train, or through the passageway under El Toro that some people don’t even realize is there, there’s almost never a long wait on this ride. The staff here always seems super enthusiastic and work quickly, which means the lines move quickly as well. The sensory effects are cool but even better at night! The lift hill isn’t usually lit up at the very top, so you climb to the top in the dark and all you can see is the lights right before the first loop, and at night you feel the mist and fire much more intensely. This was my first looping coaster and the ride that eliminated my fear of heights and rides! It’s my personal favorite roller coaster of all time!
People knew about this ride's location because they were lined up. LOL.

Rode this again last night for the umpteenth time in it's history. It's still a great coaster. Surprisingly smooth for being 20 years old and the elements never let up. Though the whole thing could seriously use a paint job and the mist is a bit much on a cool night.
Last season there was audio and there was an audio box in the back seat so the back seat only had 2 seats. Everybody complained about it and it was pointless cause you can only hear it going up the lift hill so they took it out for good. (:

This was my first floorless coaster! It's damn good and the lines are super short, literally waited 5 seconds for the gates to open (not including all the walking to get to the gates because no lines)
Bizarro is my favorite coaster there. Just yesterday (I went to sfga yesterday) I had a deadly fear of rollercoasters bizarro is not scary you are very safe and your harness is on very tight.
Same! I went on Nitro today and it was my first big roller coaster! Bizzaro is like nothing compare to nitro but Bizzaro, you don’t get the stomach feeling and it’s just so much fun!

@@lisamanoban4040 That drop is supposed to do that to prevent your head from knocking into the wood. It takes a lot of understanding of math and science to create a rollercoaster, especially a fast and huge one like the El Toro.
This ride is awesome especially the fire on the dive loop and the illusion that you’re going to hit your head on those colorful spikes on the interlocking corkscrews

I went to six flags on Thursday and rode this for the first time. This was my fav coaster in the park. This and Wonder Woman 🤌🏻 ! Completely recommend so smooth. Want to try at night next time.

Okay I've been on nitro at six flags great adventure and I stopped breathing at the first drop... So every other roller coaster my cousins went on that day I dropped out of and this one was one of them but they said this one isn't even that bad and you really can't feel anything on it and it's not scary it's more fun. Also how nitro was hella scarier. Is that true? Should I get over my fear and go on this because I'm scared of the loops.

I can't speak for this one specifically but I can speak for Hydra at Dorney Park which isn't the same layout but it is the same maker and model.
I felt just the same as you did with that one. It's super intimidating and imposing to look at and the ride itself looks pretty scary when you are watching it from the sidelines. But after just pushing through the initial fear I finally went on the thing and it really was as smooth and fun as people were saying. Not scary at all. Just immediate fun. You don't feel any of the loops because the ride just cruises rather than speeds through them. The only part you do feel is the drop and even that, in the case of Hydra at least, is nothing.
But yeah, your cousins are right. If anything its rides like this that I would recommend to anyone looking to conquer their fear of inversions because of their emphasis on fun rather than thrill.

This was my first ever ride in my whole entire life and it was unbelievably AMAZING and terrifying

I went on the Bizzaro at New England, and damn, the drops a lot bigger than this one. It's steeper and faster. My whole body went numb going down the drop and it felt like my brain was gonna explode because of the adrenaline rush. And it's just drop after drop, and they're not little ones either lol. But there's no loops and so you don't have a bar over your shoulders. Doesn't look safe, but you are. This one looks a lot more easier than the one at New England. Still looks fun though.
I've have lost all faith in the world ^ they are two completely different rides...

This ride is so crazy so I went with a family and we got on every single dollar coaster and then we got on the bizzaro and that is one of the best rides ever who ever did not go on the bizzaro because u are to scared stand up and get on this ride also check out the el toro this ride is cool

The dispatch from the dock and lift hill is like nitro. The drop is like Batman. (All the clones) then, the mist is like Superman (New England) and the pretzel twist is it’s own thing! My favorite ride there.

Five B&Ms, of which two are great, two are okay, and one is meh, two fantastic Intamins, and one meh S&S.

Me and my ex rode this back to back front row without getting off 11 times in a row. Wait for the park to be ready to close and you can go over and over because this ride is tucked all the way in the back of the park.

I watched this video this morning. It’s been around 10 hours and I’m back. I went on two roller coasters. Big ones. I still don’t like the “feeling” all I got out of it was the accomplished feeling 😂. I feel like it’ll get better every time. I did close my eyes for most of the rides, and I did hold on tight. But it was interesting, I would just say for you to go for it.
