He opened his eyes the second we reached the top and he screamed. This was one of my favorite roller coasters and I’m looking forward to riding it again!

This is the only roller coaster that makes me climb adrenaline so much every time! as if every time was a first time !! six flags have outdone themselves with this ride! the most mind-blowing, powerful, vertiginous roller coaster that I made for life !!
Exactly, same Lmao. This is the one ride I didn't go on when I went to Six Flags last year, same for that drop tower. Most people say that El Toro is scarier, but the only thing really bad about that one for me is the turns that hurt your sides when you're on it.
I actually think the setup and theming of Top Thrill dragster is better even though it’s only 420ft. As you walk through cedar point the coaster is right there. One of my best memories is walking past the dragster and hearing the roar of the car launching right past you. There’s even an area right at the launch for family to watch and also to enter the ride you walk under the track itself! Plus the sounds as you wait and countdown make the ride🤷🏼♀️
For someone who doesn’t like heights it is WAY scarier going up a slow lift hill on a coaster half as tall. Because you are on the way up there so long. On Kingda Ka you get up to the 450+ feet high peak of the tophat two seconds after you start ascending. As a result it doesn’t feel any higher really than any of the other 200+ feet coasters I’ve ridden. And I rode 230 ft tall Nitro, the next tallest coaster in that same park, within the same hour so the feelings were fresh to me. The speed is what makes Kingda Ka cool. It is friggin *bananas*
@@ludvicfreire1281 it’s only 36 feet higher. not a big difference. then on top of that they copied the dragster. king da ka wants to be like the dragster.
Remarkable ride, was lucky to ride this on my last US holiday. The scariest part is by far the acceleration, the drop down is a walk in the park. The ride that shit me up the most in that park was el toro the wooden coaster lol
Okay, so I'm a twelve year old girl and I got to Six Flags every year in September. I've been on every ride at Six Flags with no problem at all, yet I've never been on this one. This September I'll be going with my dance school like I do every year and one of my friends really wants me to go on it. I'm really scared to. I can go on any other coaster at Six Flags with no problem and can sit with a straight face for most of them. Does anyone have any tips for me about this ride?
the only thing you have to prepare for is the launch off. So don't expect the launch to be nothing. Honestly it's not scary at all of you're prepared for the launch. The rest of the ride is really cool and fun
Wow, there are a lot of people afraid of coasters! I've slipped halfway out of my restraints on a coaster before (not joking) yet I'll still go on any coaster you throw me on. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with being afraid of them. Everybody's afraid of something and that's perfectly fine.
This is what I hate about park workers. They just say its fine if there is something wrong. That's how that woman fell of that ride in six flags over texas
Epicnerd73 Then she shouldn't have been on it. Thus LolGaming is right. The thing is no ride should be allowed to go onto the tracks if someone is not properly buckled in.
I haven’t been to Great Adventure, but Cedar Point is my hone park and I’ve been on Top Thrill Dragster many times. I feel like this ride would be so much better if it had lap bars. I predict this is only the third best coaster at the park behind El Toro and Nitro.
this is my ALTIME . FAVORITE . RIDE . EVER!! i only live 30 minutes from six flags , so whenever the park is opened , it’s my friends and my family’s go to for a boring day. and as long as it’s not thundering , rides stay open while it rains ! even more fun actually !!
I know thats what ive heard at least. Unfortunately I have not gotten the chance to ride Top thrill dragster but i have ridden kingda ka. It was super fun but i was a little rough and the restraints did both me a bit so i am super excited to get on top thrill dragster one day
@@noahberlin3953 I've rode top thrill dragster multiple times and it is my favorite coaster. The only thing I think I've heard people say is better is the smoother launch and theming, but I would definitely prefer its lap bars to kingda ka's over the shoulder restraints.
I have road this and IT IS SO GOD DANG FAAAAST like literally it was so scary i felt like my heart stopped like 1 million times during it. It is so insane but it is so fun!
It happens more likely when it's colder, that's why top thrill dragster has a better chance of it happening because of the colder climate, the launch on TTD is smoother so I like it more.
i like how they compared it to four random rollercoasters to make it sound incredible, instead of admitting they basically copied it's original twin and just made it a little taller. Cedar point>six flags always.
iDc_Naiyo because TTD is the original, and they're both basically the same thing? usually the ones that came after the original are called copies. I mean, they look EXACTLY the same
whatIsThis These are not the same, so if I pull up to a set of traffic lights, and someone has the same car as me from the same manufacturer, have they copied? No, Intamin have the right to sell this, like any other company. It amazes me how people only complain about this being a coppy of TTD, but no one says anything about the Batman clones, or the standard SLC's, people are so ignorant.
Even though I haven't ridden either one of these coasters you have to remember height and speed doesn't always mean better. So really it doesn't matter if Kingda Ka is taller and faster because the main reason why people like Top Thrill Dragster more is because it has lap bars instead of OTSR like Kingda Ka does. A good example of this would be Millennium Force at Cedar Point and Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion a lot of people love Millennium Force but many people say Intimidator 305 is better because it's more intense and has a superior layout even though Millennium Force is 310 ft. at 93 mph and Intimidator 305 is 305 ft. at 90 mph.
I like how at 3:22 there just not going to mention top thrill dragster (420 feet tall) and Superman (415 feet tall) and instead mention rides that are around 300 feet tall 😂👍😂
I love this ride so much! I rode it for the 2nd time last weekend! If you want to ride it, you should! It may seem scary, but it's actually not. (Unless you are afraid of heights. [458ft])
Yeah, as a person who lives in the area and has a season pass I have been on kingda ka tons of times I know it's not bad. I always have to explain to my friends how it is safe and fun
***** the worst part when I went on it one of the times, was when we went backward. It usually doesn't do that, but holy s*** it was scary! I hit my head back, and yeah. So that was really scary.
I'm going to Disney world in Florida soon and I really hope they do build one because I wanna ride it. It better not be the same as the top thrill dragster was though. Even though KDK and TTD were made by same company that just means that the company doesn't have any good ideas
When I went on this, the guy tricked me. He went 7...6..5...ZOOM! I reccomend after King Da Ka you go on the drop that’s built in the middle of King Da Ka. I don’t think it shows in this video but it’s built l.

+Mr. Magic Kingdom I would love to do it maybe take lots of calm medicine first
EXACTLY IT PISSES ME OFF
Yepp
Mr. Magic Kingdom cough cough stealth
OMG i love stealth!! Thorpe park is the closest theme park to me and i love the launch, just think what this ride would do!!!
How bad is the drop feeling in your stomach?
Sara Flayhan Not that bad actually, I was expecting at least 10 seconds of pain but it’s so fast going down the drop you hardly feel it.
Threeli okay, because I hate that feeling, but I want to go on this roller coaster sooooo bad.
It’s literally wind on your face the whole time but you might feel a slight headache afterwards.
GalaxyCat meh, as long as I have Tylenol with me...
I HATE THE FEELING TOO!
Yes it was worth every penny 🤩🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👍😀😀
The rest of the ride is really cool and fun
just enjoy the ride and i never say this but it tottally applies to this: YOLO
SassyMonkay thats true
did i motivate you lol
SassyMonkay kinda I'm probably gonna end up doing it
Wow, there are a lot of people afraid of coasters!
***** The woman fell off because she was too fat to fit in the seat properly so the restraint couldn't click all the way.
Epicnerd73 Then she shouldn't have been on it. Thus LolGaming is right. The thing is no ride should be allowed to go onto the tracks if someone is not properly buckled in.
Krishna Hemminger Yeah I know..
HUFFED GH V BY
I prefer Top Thrill Dragster over Kingda Ka because of its comfort, speed, height, and theming. :)
Yeah top thrill dragster is super fast
George Wilmer Yeah. Its top speed is 120 mph. :)
You are correct.
Me too
It's the same ride lol but kingdom ka is little more beefy
susan was the real gangsta in this video, arms up n everything 😭😭.
THE 2ND TIME I WENT ON THIS I DIDNT EVEN SCREAM! THIS RIDE IS AWESOME
I have been on this and honestly you barely get the stomach feeling, but how they make you wait on the track the anticipation is the scariest part
I agree
Andrew Productions yeah 😂
i always say i would never do rides like this but then the moment i get off one i’m like.. “let’s do it again”
“I didn’t want to open my eyes and just see sky” so what do you when your on a walk close your eyes every time you look up ??
1:00 that's me on every roller coaster lol they scare the shit out of me haha
I actually got anxiety from watching this
My friends:Let’s do it!
Me:Yea no. No thanks.. I’m good.
Coming back to this video after riding it for the first time yesterday.
I'm heading to Jersey on Thursday and staying until Sunday to go to SFGA!
I love how no videos mention how often this coaster breaks down
Because why would they? If it is broken down there is no video lol.
This lowkey looks fun. This is coming from a person that is afraid of heights and rollercoasters
OML THAT’S SO BIGGG !!! So many people GO on IT! How are people not Scared??? There so Brave. :)
Your a pussy then
I haven’t been to Great Adventure, but Cedar Point is my hone park and I’ve been on Top Thrill Dragster many times. I feel like this ride would be so much better if it had lap bars. I predict this is only the third best coaster at the park behind El Toro and Nitro.
El Toro by far is the best ride followed by nitro, you’re spot on
*Roll back is basically Superman at Magic Mountain if you think about it....*
*That is something called 2 in 1*
EleazarSucksAtGaming 21 well does it ever not do that
3:32 there’s nothing like it. The best of its kind. Did he forget that top thrill dragster exists?
I’ve ridden both and TTD is way better in my opinion. Kingda Ka has terrible over shoulder restraints and the launch is pretty rough
Top thrill is better no shoulder restraints this is a copy cat
This ride is out of control
Me um el Toro is right there
@@timnewman8690 not a copy cat same company same model would you say a vekoma boomering is a copycat no cause they are a model
@@itzzzzman8186the six flags company could at least be more original instead of the same thing with minor differences.
this is my ALTIME . FAVORITE . RIDE . EVER!! i only live 30 minutes from six flags , so whenever the park is opened , it’s my friends and my family’s go to for a boring day. and as long as it’s not thundering , rides stay open while it rains ! even more fun actually !!
once you go on this, you will never fear another coaster again. I don't know which was better the launch or the drop lol
“ there is nothing like it”
Me: Thinking about top thrill dragster at cedar point
Noah Berlin top thrill dragster better smoother launch lap bar theming bleachers
Thrill dragster goes 120mph this one goes 128 also thrill dragster goes 428 feet hight this one goes 456 it the fastest and tallest
@@fabiancroll2730 When you're riding it though your body can't really tell the difference between minute stats like that.
3:39 breathtaking memes before it’s popular lol
3:12 okay that looks scary, that almost vertical drop 😬
I have road this and IT IS SO GOD DANG FAAAAST like literally it was so scary i felt like my heart stopped like 1 million times during it. It is so insane but it is so fun!
Puppy Playz never been on it but it looks fun
Iv been on it too as well as formula rossa. Rossa launch is smoother and faster but king is overall a more nervous wait.
It wasn't too scary to me but it was so windy I could barely keep my eyes opened.
The take off is incredible!! I'd love a rollback!
How could it be a copy of Top Thrill Dragster if they are both made by the same manufacturer...
iDc_Naiyo because TTD is the original, and they're both basically the same thing? usually the ones that came after the original are called copies. I mean, they look EXACTLY the same
No.
whatIsThis using your logic top thrill dragster copied xcelerator.
whatIsThis These are not the same, so if I pull up to a set of traffic lights, and someone has the same car as me from the same manufacturer, have they copied? No, Intamin have the right to sell this, like any other company. It amazes me how people only complain about this being a coppy of TTD, but no one says anything about the Batman clones, or the standard SLC's, people are so ignorant.
I rate this 6/10 only because this ride ALWAYS BREAKS DOWN.
Wow what a rollercoaster.I feel like I'm on it.
Nope you'll never catch me on that ride.. I would pass out.
I would pass out for waisting my time in that line, when el toro is right next to kingdaka.
I'm from Cleveland but I say the dragster is better and I have done both with both role backs king da kah is good but the dragster is better
KingDa Ka is better. 32 ft higher and 8 more mph. Its much more efficient and better to go on. Don't forget funner.
A good example of this would be Millennium Force at Cedar Point and Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion a lot of people love Millennium Force but many people say Intimidator 305 is better because it's more intense and has a superior layout even though Millennium Force is 310 ft. at 93 mph and
Intimidator 305 is 305 ft. at 90 mph.
Kaylyn Aponte dude top thrill has lap bars!
I’m from Cleveland also and I agree. Plus the dragster came way before this one
It’s funny to me when people say KingDaKa is better because it’s 32 feet taller. When your going that fast you do t know the difference.
i will forever cherish this video
“You havent lived if you havent been on the cranium shaker”
I’ve been on this ride at least 10 times I love it it’s extremely fun and exciting
I like how at 3:22 there just not going to mention top thrill dragster (420 feet tall) and Superman (415 feet tall) and instead mention rides that are around 300 feet tall 😂👍😂
Millenium force falls 300 feet
@@anthony_reacts 310ft to be exact, there is Fury 325 at Carowinds which is obviously 325ft too
@@dylanjb4065 oooooh i was verry close but thanks for saying it
OMG this video was so good! Keep up the good work!
I can’t believe I went on this! I don’t even like heights lol
Then you would be like Jill ‘coaster enthusiast’ also Jill: a normal person not a enthusiast
Top Thrill Dragster was the first type of this and it’s smoother. I would recommend it rather than this one if your nervous. I like Top Thrill better
tf u mean 1st
I love this ride so much! I rode it for the 2nd time last weekend! If you want to ride it, you should! It may seem scary, but it's actually not. (Unless you are afraid of heights. [458ft])
That drop is painful.
Karmiangod not for me, I just keep my head all the way back and it shouldn't if you do that.
456 ft*
I have went on this ride so many times I have came here since I was about 4 now I’m 12 such a huge fan of coasters and this ride :)
I know. This park is just about in if my favourite place. I have had more fun at doc flags than Disney world
I meant to put six
Leila H yeah same love six flags. It’s just the best.
KingDa Ka Will not be the tallest coaster anymore. Florida is building A 525 Foot Coaster.
Dammit, fuck Florida!
forreal?
Don't know if its gonna happen.
I'm going to Disney world in Florida soon and I really hope they do build one because I wanna ride it. It better not be the same as the top thrill dragster was though. Even though KDK and TTD were made by same company that just means that the company doesn't have any good ideas
Jeff Ortega THE KINGDA KA is still the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the word and it's been 4 years so what's your excuse salty?
When I went on this, the guy tricked me. He went 7...6..5...ZOOM!
I reccomend after King Da Ka you go on the drop that’s built in the middle of King Da Ka.
I don’t think it shows in this video but it’s built l.
0:03 With all those trees, I'm not too sure lol.
True
@@DiscoverGuyyou could see it from the World Trade Center in New York City
I miss these type of shows
That shit kept breaking down when I went in 2006.
I’ll be dead and my mom would be crying if I went on this.
I would die on it too
So I guess no one booked LaMelo Ball at 1:31
Kenneth West Wait shit
Kenneth West not actually him
I couldn’t stop smiling ear to ear just watching this video 🤣🤣♥️
