I've got a re-theme concept for Skull Mountain. How does, "Escape From Skull Mountain" sound? Make it pirate themed, with a queue soundtrack that tells a story? On ride sounds and some effects would put it over the top!
Nitro will always be my number 1. Kingda ka is too short, toro and jersey devil are too rough, but the first drop on nitro is one of the best drops I’ve ever ridden and the whole thing runs so smoothly. I always see it in the top 4 and I STILL don’t think it gets the credit it deserves.
Yes! Wooden coasters should always have a bite, and El Toro is always my favorite there. (El Toro was my favorite coaster for a million years until I rode Velocicoaster!)
rode dark knight last night, the lights were all broken and instead of the bullet holes in the glass, it was like color changing party lights, and the explosion before the drop was completely gone
My personal top 5 ranking 5: joker 4: el toro 3. kingda ka 2: nitro 1: batman Batman is a great starter coaster and good to warm up with in my opinion.
I don't rank Superman Ultimate Flight as low as you, but I do agree the ride is a bit of a disappointment after the pretzel loop. I feel they could have added another later in the ride, or could have put some corkscrews in there. The flying experience I find quite fun though.
I miss great adventure. The last time that I was there, I rode Batman, Viper, Great American Scream Machine, Rolling Thunder and the Stuntsman Freefall.
Jersey devil coaster was running extra fast this year I got lucky and was able to get in the back car and got insane ejector out of my seat every hill was just ejector and ejector again
I completely agree with the top 5 coasters in this video, it's only actually coasters #10-6 I might disagree with, strictly within personal preference of course. I do think Superman is #10, but I prefer Medusa, Joker, even the Mine Train over Green Lantern. I don't wanna hate on Green Lantern too much but...Yeah it's number 9 for me lol.
Went to great adventure Labor Day weekend first time ever and had a blast. My top 3 ranking was: 1. Jersey devil 2.L toro 3.Ka I want l toro to be my first but the 2nd half BEATS YOU UP! So bruised after riding 6-7 times. Going back Saturday so I’m pretty sure my rankings will change 100%

Here is my list: 10. Skull Mountain (cool but weak) 9. Superman (the backwards part is the only saving grace, slow) 8. Joker (interesting) 7. Green Lantern (too rough but great layout) 6. Batman (smooth and has some good moments) 5. Medusa (same as batman but better) 4. Kingda Ka (it's fast and cool, but too short for me) 3. El Toro (feels like your gonna die, but very fast) 2. Jersey Devil (smooth and quick) 1. Nitro (gets you pulled in and out of your seat) (1/2 alternating)
I would like to see a Jersey Devil cloned Raptor at SFOG as a secondary RMC to ride because I really don’t need to drive 20 minutes just to ride AireForce One and is my current home park.
There is no right or wrong opinion, but green lantern at 6 is wrong lol. I would rank GL at #12, only because I’ve never been on the 2 kiddie coasters, but I’m pretty sure if I did, I’d rank them over GL. It’s not the stand up position…doesn’t bother me, it’s the head banging, the rattle, the boring layout, and the lack of speed/intensity. The ride’s roughness can be confused with intensity, but it’s just painful lol. Definitely the worst major coaster I’ve ever been on at any park I’ve been to. They need to take it down and maybe build a dive coaster instead, that would be awesome. The rest of your ranking is very good though, great channel!!

El Toro kills me, rode it once this year, never again. If I’m going to consensually give myself spinal damage, I’ll throw myself down a flight of steps. Great White at Wildwood is 100x smoother than Toro.
First trip to the park ever yesterday and after the third hill on El Toro really felt like I might be in danger. And not in a fun way. Gimme the Cyclone any day.
Yo coliwood… I really hope SFGA adds something big and soon. I love most of the big coasters at SFGA but Jesus we need some new blood there. I know we are getting the super boomerang but I’m honestly not that excited about it. The park needs new blood and badly.
That’s an Insta360 X3 on a GoPro Hand/Wrist Mount. Keep in mind that the large majority of parks (including Great Adventure) do not allow on-ride filming without permission
I stopped riding it in 2020 but the times I have ridden it I don't remember my balls hurting but I really hate the feet and leg tingles they are so uncomfortable compared to other rides and roller coasters with the same feeling
June 25th 2024, just got back from Great adventure and Medusa was running insane. I've never felt it like that before. It was extremely smooth and faster than ever was so intense and I used to not even like that coaster much.. it was over 110 degrees but well worth the ride, El Toro also in the heeat

Nitro is most people's number 1! I've been on many coasters in my life, and Nitro is the best all round.
El toro last row drop > any seat on nitro
