In 5E D&D, oathbreaker is the closest to a blackguard we get. Though the logic behind it makes no sense to me because an oathbreaker only implies your oath to a god was broken, whether than god was good, evil or neutral. Minthara is a paladin under Lolth's service which is an evil deity.
@@airrocker001 Paladins don't take oaths for gods. They pledge themselves to a set of ideals to follow. So Minthara swearing vengeance upon her enemies is completely valid
@@thesussadin That's the point I was trying to make. Paladin powers come from the oaths itself in 5E. This make no sense though as paladins are historically considered un/holy warriors and are faith based, whether aligned to an evil or good deity. Like how cleric prepare their spells each day because they believe in a certain deity. Having any rando aligned to whatever promise is doesn't make sense.
@@airrocker001 Well this is the new age of humanity where everyone needs to be pandered to and anti-theists wanna play a paladin or cleric without gods. So WOTC and Larian comply

I thought she served the Absolute
She was captured by Katheric and Orin. Than Orin placed tadpole in her eye.
She seemed very much in favor of the Absolute at the goblin camp 🤔
@@flyingpaladin617 yeah, because she was controlled by the tadpole.
@@Echo_ohc3 the tadpole made her do it 😂
Is Minthara literally blackguard?
