In order for her to get the map, she had to search a whole planet for the knife map, accidentally found in a snake tunnel WHICH they clarified went on for miles, meaning out of miles and miles of tunneling they just happened to land next to where it was. Also, over 30 years, the knife didnt deteriorate at all or get dragged away. Let's say it was a special kind of metal to be generous. Now the DEATH STAR. You literally saw not one, but both death stars explode into nothingness. So even if a chunk of the death star that big did land on a planet, how did it not break up through the atmosphere or shatter when crashing into the ocean. Or not get rusted or worn away after 30+ years inside the ocean, getting pelted by those huge waves. Again, let's just say it's a special metal. So even if both were made out of the best metal in the world, she would still have to stand in the EXACT position to make the map work. And out of the entire shore, THE ENTIRE PLANET, she stood in the exact perfect spot. That's the biggest bullshit case of plot convenience ever.

It wasn’t executed horribly what are you taking about. It was better than The Last Jedi. JJ Abrams had to fix what Rian Johnson messed up and had to finish it probably. It could of been better but he is no George Lucas so this is what we have.

Darth Vader is. How he for supplanted by Angry Grandpa I’ll never understand. And what was the ORIGINAL plan for Snoke? He ended up being more disposable than Darth Maul, and they really, really screwed Maul’s introduction & demise up.

Kinda pisses me off that everyone was so hyped to see Palpatine return, but then when the movie came out a lot of these same people were all like “Palpatine shouldn’t have come back, it makes no sense and it takes away from Anaheim’s sacrifice”. Make up your damn mind.
For everyone questioning the choices they made for the sequels (mostly ROS), here’s my thoughts (no hate): Now that I think about it more, it makes more sense why they chose to bring Palpatine back. We see in TPM Maul get sliced in half and fall all the way down nearly the same way as Palpatine did so. Then, we see Maul survived in Clone Wars and officially killed in Rebels. When we look at ROTJ, Vader picks up Palpatine and throws him down the reactor, saving his son, but results in his death. Seeing Maul survived that fall, it makes sense that the emperor would have also, seeing him as much more powerful. And now, he’s in ROS. I’m still not super into this idea of bringing Palp back, but no hate. Just my thoughts.

I would agree that most fans recognized Palpatine's voice and got excited about seeing the emperor again. However that being said, the biggest applause came from the title "Rise of Skywalker. " Like ne im pretty sure that the majority of fans thought Luke was coming back from the dead somehow and we were going to see him kick a lot of First Order butt. The title got a bigger standing ovation than Palpatine's voice. It was great to see him again to bring the saga to an end though. My favorite character has been and always will be......Luke Skywalker.
Vader didn’t die for nothing but ok. Kyle Ren was never a villain either, just had mis-judgement. People have randomly come back before. It’s not even that hard to believe. Palpatine’s a smart mofo, what fucked it all up was the execution of the movie. Still, it makes me happy to all the SW fans happy before the inevitable disappointment.
