JBP is just breaking it down much further, and not directly relating to money management. Dave respects him and his well thought out perspective on responsibility.

And the winner of the 2024 World Series is.. Peterson's whole ideology is predicated on hierarchies of competence. In addition to making you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There was a writer named Harry Golden who sometimes reminisced in the fifties about his youth on the lower east side of New York around 1900 - 1920. One of his stories was about the clothing stores and all the tricks they had for taking advantage of their customers. Then he went on to say, these tricky guys, for all their cleverness, never amounted to much. They would be in business a year or two then disappear, no one knew where they went and no one cared.
The real successful merchants offered their customers good value for their money and a money back guarantee. Those were the stores that went on for 10, 20, 30, or 40 years getting bigger and stronger all the time. These were the great department stores and clothing stores that became household names in their cities.
So if you want a real long lasting success you have to treat your customers right and build up a business over time.

I worked for myself for 25 years. The people I worked for could see how hard I worked to achieve their objectives.
It was immensely satisfying - especially when they came back time and time again over the years. There were times when I scratched to make a living other times when I made good money.
Be as GOOD as you can at what you do and you WILL make a profit.
    I did for 25 years.

As a new investor, it's important to remember that investing and trading require more than just technical analysis skills. Discipline and emotional maturity play a significant role in achieving success. It's wise to keep in mind the adage of "time in the market vs. timing the market," as this mentality can help you weather market volatility. With insights of Mr Jeffery Thomas and my commitment to learning and growth, I've been increasing my portfolio in just a few months. Keep up the good work!

"If someone refused to use a preferred pronoun - and it was determined to constitute discrimination or harassment - could that potentially result in jail time?"
"It is possible, Brown says, through a process that would start with a complaint and progress to a proceeding before a human rights tribunal. If the tribunal rules that harassment or discrimination took place, there would typically be an order for monetary and non-monetary remedies. A non-monetary remedy may include sensitivity training, issuing an apology, or even a publication ban, he says."
So if you don't use made up words made by the mentally ill, you can be fined, publication ban, and forced "sensitivity training", "issuing an apology" (more forced speech). So yes, he was right. And I guarantee if you don't do that stuff, jail is the next punishment for your wrongthink.
Just admit your a fascist, you want everyone who disagrees to be forced to be silent and ideally, so frightened into submission that they won't even commit their wrongthink to start with.
