I would probably be a 7 - I do my best to set a daily schedule so that I manage my time wisely with the things I need and want to accomplish. I am not always on track depending on distractions or energy levels, but I attempt to do my best daily

Intentionality, the missing ingredient in my life. My prayer for 2023 is to become intentional in what I do.
That’s my word “Intentionality” for 2023 too. Intentional with my faith, family, health and finances. Dave is the G.O.A.T! I followed his baby steps and became completely debt free (mortgage too) in March 3, 2020 (1 week before the shutdown). Putting God first was number 1 reason how we accomplished this and following Dave’s principles was number 2. Good luck and be blessed

My husband spent some time with some guys and said, "they are soooo nice but they are kind of 'churchy'". I asked him, "You don't think those 2 things have anything to do with one another?"
He now pushes for us to attend services.
Just a thought.

I’m so glad Dave acknowledged that racism is REAL, prejudices and stereotypes are real. As he said, we don’t all have the same starting point and whilst many people try act like it’s a non-factor, it’s not something to be zipped past. As a black woman, it’s been difficult and I’ve seen, felt, experienced, that I have to work twice as hard as my white male counterparts just to get to the SAME place, just to be acknowledged and congratulated on the SAME success. I’m not blaming anyone, sometimes racism is covert, unconscious and systemic. I’m just saying, for my people, we do have to work harder but it is possible! I’m in my mid 20s, worked hard to become debt free, fully-funded EF & am investing 25% of my income. I found Dave in my early 20s which I’m so grateful for, it’s only just the beginning 😅💕

That last part I experienced in a store little while ago, I paid for an elderly man who had the wrong card with him. The man wanted to buy flowers for the nurses that helped him. That made my day 😊

Three weeks ago we paid off the mortgage after 18 years of hard work and scrimping and saving and raising. 7 children! We are now debt free!!

This was amazing teaching, I used to live on credit and my life was miserable, I couldn't see a way out of debt and was miserable every month come bill-paying time. I still use credit, but I use it to my advantage and don't spend more than I make. I also increased my savings and giving, I'm no longer fearful of how I'm going to pay for things. While I listened to Dave I didn't follow his steps, but my end result was the same, it just took me longer than it would have. I thank God every day for my health, job, station in life, and the grace he has bestowed on me. Thank you, Jesus, I choose to follow you!!!

Thank you for this message today. I was working on my business plan and as I scrolled through the internet, Daves message presented itself to me. By faith, I don't think it was by accident. I honestly had no idea how deeply rooted Daves faith in our Lord was until now! I love the idea of the Lord using me as a steward to make a difference! I am nowhere close to that now but this message gave me hpoe that someday I will! Please pray for me to build the relationship with Him that I need to make it become real! Just picturing the ability to be that man in the grocery store like brought me such joy in my heart and tears in my eyes as well!
