    I wasn't playing Crossout before (mainly cuz I only had 1 copy lmao) but now that I've gotten 2, it's soooo good to counter the handtraps that I'm running also!

    I have no clue why people sleep on crossout. When evebody is playing the same 9 to 12 staples and handtraps a card that basically reads "negate whatever lmao" sounds pretty good to me.

      @@kenneth-ik8sd I think you’re gonna be proven wrong this next format lol. 100% hand trap format plus diabellestar engine in the top 3 decks. It will see play, even if it is just a “win more” card I think it’s gonna have results.

    • @keagenreynolds4090

      @@kenneth-ik8sd the point that you're missing is every deck is running ash veiler imperm etc... thats 9 cards that you will most likely be running. I'm just saying i think it's worthy of peoples considerations. Just because there are better options for counterplay doesnt mean the card is inherently bad, maybe niche but certainly it has applications.

      In a format where if you expect people to play certain cards, u can just ignore people being salty, I took this page from YCS 2nd place, he sided 3. I adapted to main 3 with fenrir. Because I am not there to let people play, I am there to make sure my stuff is cheaper to play than your stuff

    I've been doing 1 crossout & called by because it can feel bricky otherwise. This deck does have unplayable hands and i find myself running into those more often than not when running 3 crossout + targets. I also took out the jet for the same reason. 2/3 games i'm drawing the one of and it hurts.

    Unrelated to the deck but considering a very small RACE package in my Dark World side deck. A few Impulse and Fire Attacker. Mostly for the memes.
    May the Droll be with you.

    Yep, it’s that easy everyone. Just open TTT, Crossout (and none of the bricks), hand traps, and a full combo piece. If you do that every round for 5 rounds, you too can win a local.

    • @MSTTV
      @MSTTV  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That only works if you know your lines.
      For full disclosure: I only landed that play twice.
      After siding, triple impulse took.
      All the other times it’s just knowing how to eat disruptions and save preventer for outs and extensions

      I don’t care. I’m pointing out that your deck plays cards that inherently invite that variance to your hands. You didn’t draw poorly, so you won. That isn’t out playing your opponents, that’s being luckier than them. Congrats.

    • @GutsmanLoL
      @GutsmanLoL ปีที่แล้ว

      @@generalistvibe3279any deck that plays ANY amount of non engine is “inherently adding variance” . News flash, yugioh is a card game, and card games are generally decided by who opens better, simply by virtue of your hand being entirely random every game which you have no control over.
      If you watch all of Joshua Schmidt’s matches for the ycs he won, there were a handful of games where he won simply by drawing the out. Does that mean he didn’t deserve to win? Does that mean that all of the decisions he made leading up to that meant nothing? I don’t think so.
      I think there’s a totally legitimate argument to be made for crossout this format (and future formats) simply given the fact that it seems most people are opting to play hand traps over board breakers. This, coupled with the fact that the most popular decks by far for the foreseeable future are going to be rescue ace and fire king, means that in both those decks especially, crossout is going to have a ton of value since you’ll either be playing a ton of mirror matches, or if race and fire king are vs each other, they share a shit ton of non-engine and extenders, enough of which you could totally justify crossout in the main.
      Tbh you sound like someone who hates Yugioh inherently as a game, and if that’s the case you’d probably be better off using your time for something else completely, rather than hate watching and crying like a bitch in the TH-cam comments.
