I don't understand why getting a new thing of cards in the same year an archetype released is classified as legacy support. It's just new support coming out slightly after the rest of the deck
It shouldn't be called Legacy support. This has happened for all of the decks debuted in their deck build packs. Deck releases in a build pack (Amazing Defenders) and receives two waves of support in the subsequent two Booster sets (in this case Cyberstorm Access and Duelist Nexus) So this is just Rescue-Ace's second wave.

I find it kinda funny that the Rescue Ace archetype is meant to be fighting fires but seem to be Fire attribute themselves rather than Water. Maybe they are secretly arsonists. 😐

Post DUNE possibly, post AGOV absolutely not (AGOV comes before the end of the year BTW). The Diabellestar Rescue Ace deck has literally no weaknesses, ash blossom? Pray to god they didn't open Witch + Emergency Access. Droll? pray they don't have Emergency access off of 1 search. Imperm/Veiler, hope to god you open double imperm/veiler, Nibiru doesn't stop set 4, boardbreakers, still a bit weak but Witch engine makes the Terahertz combo more consistent.
Solved literally all problems? I love this archetype, but it still has zero interaction with backrow. A missed opportunity to invent a card named "Charge the Hose!" or something that removes backrow xD

Last time Rescue-ACE was on TMT, it was kind of meh. This time around, holy bleep has the power level on this deck gone up a lot. Preventer and EMERGENCY really fixed the problems with this deck. If this deck ever gets in archetype backrow hate it will be a serious problem. I’m hoping MBT has that Unchained TMT in the tank, because that’s the deck I’m most curious about after DUNE’s release.
Purrely is Tier 1, Rescue Ace is Tier 1, and Mikanko...is not, but is still a surprisingly competent deck you can bring to a Regionals, or maybe even a YCS if you're banking on the classic "your opponent not knowing what your cards do" strat Amazing Defenders aged very well

This deck gets even better in Age of Overlord, the Diabellestar and Little Night synergize extremely well with the deck and Diabellestar solves one of the deck's worst chokepoints.
May can I ask you how? Bc I've just bought the entire rescue core, and of course the main problem are Spell and Trap negates (I usually play the Infernoble Renaud variant to being able to access lot of extenders, in order to summon Baronne exc...); but yeah, I'm really curious about how it will works with Diabellestarr ... If you can tell me that, I will apprecciate that :)
@@thewhitewolf8658 think he's talking about the fact that hydrant can be summoned from the deck with one of the snake eyes cards because it's a level 1 fire, and if I remember correctly this snake eyes card can be set from the deck with diabellestar, but I don't know if it's worth playing in rescue ace.

This archetype is fun cause its so non-engine a ton of different variants are gonna be tried. The base engine is good enough its 100% worth it to try, even if this isn't the OCG

i remember reading or heard that people on OCG playing this just because it plays around Maxx C, and TCG player were just thinking OCG were just silly people playing this deck. "this deck isn't good blablabla" and now TCG player do be "we revolutionized the deck" "we are the true yugioh"
Emergency is just such a sick card. Turning Air Hoister into a one card starter makes for a really solid engine into Hydrant and then into Turbulance, which just gives you so much advantage from their disruptive traps. Works really well in something like Generaider because Turbulance just so happens to be a non-light level 9 which makes it a great target for World Legacy Monstrosity

It's not quite as good as the Predaplant Gossip Shadow engine, but it still works surprisingly well because one side tends to bait out negations for the other
as an upcoming Fire Fighter, I've been waiting for a Fire Fighter themed deck in literally any card game for a long time. Currently playing Aurora Battle Princess in Vanguard because it's Police which isn't the same but fun and justifiable enough for me, plus I just love the deck with my life, but over in Yugioh we just didn't have the same. This archetype makes me really happy but unfortunately I just really don't like where Yugioh is right now and it breaks my heart. Super happy to see this deck being given love and representation. I actually think we're getting it soon on Master Duel, PHHY stuff will be completed soon, Dkayed leaked Chaos Angel, which is already CYAC, so Amazing Defenders should be close. And given their latest release trends, it will probably release with DUNE support. The thing is wether R-ACE will be the first one of Amazing Defenders to come out. It can take from 1 month to 5, depending on release order, we can only guess.

I actually pulled a Collector's Rare Rescue-ACE Hydrant from Amazing Defenders and immediately sold it on Mercari for $40. The guy tried to pretend he didn't get it for an entire month, until the site literally forced the transaction to complete and I finally got my $40. Now they're going for $100 and I um...I uh. Um uh. Uhhhhh, er um.
Amazing Defenders Day 1: Not a single competitive archetype. Scariest thing was an inconsistent Turn 1 Expurrely Noir. Amazing Defenders, half a year later: Every archetype is playable, two are very competitive. One even has a banned card.
while I like Pak as a player I think his list really sucks. the infernoble 1 card combo list can play through multiple interrupts while building up to 3 negates and 4 interrupts. His list loses to 95% of all board breakers and has almost 0 comeback.
i am not going to suggest you the absolute worst arctype that gets a card or two a year since it was first introduced in duelist city's finals in original yugioh and then used as a promo card for a sneak peak. However, if you ignore the fact that konami nerfed it when it came out, keeps ensuring that the archtype is unplayable in every single format, and also had to change the rules to give it a power buff when they released a named archtype inside the archtype and still the archtype is the weakest archtype still getting support.....then i suggest not looking into the great ass that is trap monsters. Trap monsters all have the text "this card is still a trap" in its text box and it all started with a card that was worse then anything else released at the time Embodiment of Apophis. At the time this 1600 attack point card with no effect that had to take two turns just to play also needed the down side of taking up two card zones. This was during an era of archtypes like cyber dragon, frogs, heros and ancient gears. The next pack would have dark worlds so yeah, Embodiment of Apophis was underwealming for a trap monster and would herald in a path of always weaker then litterally everything else for its time cards.
I honestly don't know why people say the deck was bad before the new support, sure it couldn't beat the meta but I'm not one of those people that say anything that can't beat the top deck is bad.
The first game against labrynth was winnable i think by going for proxy instead of wolf. Using rescue to special one from gy, using both for mudragon. Then you declare fire and the turbulance resolve

I don’t understand why people run one field spell, they can recycle each other and just not a bad card to have you’re just shooting your grind game in the foot by running one
Because you rarely want to ever actually use the field spell, its mostly there for the shuffle into deck and your grind game should already be good enough. The decks strength is its grind game so if you lose in the grind game you fucked up and a second field spell wouldn't help
1. the field spell is searchable via Air hoister. so drawing air hoister also means you drew HQ. 2. Really the only useful thing the card does is recycle your resources. which is very important for the grind game, but in the first turns of the game, it doesn't really do much. it's very much in the same realm as Traptrip guardan. it's a really godo card. but you only really run one of it because pudica searches it.
Match 3 game 1 you had access to proxy F for Mudragon into turb but didn't make it to save the rescue, BUT you didn't have any names in the grave to reborn BECAUSE you saved the rescue 😭 heartbreaking

it's good there because this is a midrange deck that can play on both turn. So when you got maxx c you just pass and do your setup on opponent's turn

As someone who's been testing against the ocg cards for a while, they frustrate me greatly
Emergency is just such a sick card. People slept on hydrant when it was like $12 a pop, even by thr time ocg got the new support it was like $20 each still…
