Finally I understand replication in prokaryotes by your video 😌 for me it was very difficult topic until I watched your video. Thank u for making this video with easy understanding.
THANK YOU! You explain this far more clearly (yet in more detail) than my biology textbook. Subscribing, something tells me this channel is going to help me get a biology degree.
Am going to write my first test(final year) microbiology on Friday 11 aug 2023,and i am certain that i am going to get distinction because of how useful your videos have been .i will comeback for update. Thank you sir❤
Sir... Read this... DNA pol3 functions in 5'-3' direction. My question is.. This function is based on which strand's 5'-3 ? Is it Parent DNA strand's 5'-3' or new synthesizing strand's 5'-3' ? Ohh ohh ohh , got it... after.... Thank you sir 😇
i think there is a mistake on leading strand and lagging strand as it is mention here....cz leading should be mention on 5 prime to 3 prime , as the opposite of 3 prime to 5 prime of parent strand
Yeah , have very less views.. But i assure you once , this channel grows more we will be getting more exponential views. All Educational videos face the same fate during the nascent stages.
According to standard book 'principles of biochemistry' ..it says lagging strand forms a loop to aid the dimeric structure of ploymerase to word run simultaneously on both new strand.... if i study according to ur video ..will it be correct anyway.....?
Yeah that is when we get more into it and my video is here to make concepts clear . But if we see that complex dimeric structure forming that would be difficult to put forward here in short video.. Thanks for ur feedback...
sir i have a confusion regarding primers on lagging strand....which primer is considerd the 1st primer the one is which nearest to the 5' END OF template or one which is nearest to the 3' end of template lagging strand
Assalamualaikum sir ...one query ...DUE site both side hoti h DAR Site k ? ...q k phir termination me replication fork dono taraf se ana chahiye tbi termination complete hoga ..😢 please btaiye samajh nii aya ye
Your explanation is too good 👍😌 Plz tell the name of reference book 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏, so that I can also read it , currently I am reading this topic from Pearson's Concepts of Genetics , but many things are missing in that book .
I have a question , Leading and lagging strands are formed in different strand or same strand ??? You tell that they are formed in different strand but I have learned somewhere that both the strands have leading as well as lagging strands
It is the direction of Polymerase what make leading and lagging strands. When Polymerase Runs on 3 prime to 5 prime Template strand it creates Leading strand and Vice versa..... So on only one strand we can have leading as well as lagging strand when two Polymerases work on the same strand in different directions... Here i have shown only one Polymerase working on one strand.
Actually there are 2 replication fork instead of one as you have shown . I think that's why I am getting confused why you have not both leading and lagging on same strands .
TER is just a sequence on DNA... TUS is protein ,,,, so a specific Orientation of TUS on Ter sequence makes it a replication termination site. The Replication fork can pass via TER-TUS complex in one direction but this complex stops fork coming from other side( non permissive )... TUS binds in accordance with the sequence so that Permissive and non permissive faces are correctly oriented. TUS se he actually termination hoti hai..... Bas TER sequence sirf batata hai TUS ko kaise orient krna hai..
This is the best biology channel in you tube with most detailed bt simple explanation ...Along with memorable illustrations perfectly 😊😊😊

The DnaA binds to 9mer and causes unwinding of 13mer but here u say the opposite. Is it by mistake cause the image is right..🤔
Yeah AT RICH region are more likely to be first get seprate because only 2 hydrogen bonds are involved
In between A and T

DNA A binds to 9 mer side not the 13 mer side
Please make video on more topic from molecular biology related to csir net syllabus...your video gives a crystal clear concept n are so informative
surely
great video 👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Did you say unwinding occurs at the 9mer sequence...but you clearly stated in your diagram that the DUE is the 13mer sequence...where unwinding occurs

Exactly , that's why I'm so confused
It’s right tho, there’s just a turn on the left of the fork, that might be confusing
Aight never mind, just got the the part where it’s wrong, it’s at 4:03, 5’ and 3’ should be switched on the left of the fork
Exalent sir
Thank you so much for your efforts .finally understood

@@hussainbiology thanks....sir one request to you ..plz upload on rapid fire topics regarding csir net dec 2018
Excellant way of teaching ....but no of vedios are quite few..........plus if Ecology vedioes are made that would be your highness
So then tus should have permissive and non permissive sites...and ter is only site for tus to bind there..
Nice
nice video! with a little work on your accent, things will be much better. I had a little problem in understanding a few words.
okay sir
Sir kindly comment the book to follow this topic?
