    REFRIGERATE this Spritz, lasts a week and a half.... You can use fenugreek powder, however, I have found the shelf life to be shorter.
    If you're wondering what to do with the soaked fenugreek seeds, DON'T THROW THEM AWAY! Use them in the following ways:
    Aloe Hair Mask - th-cam.com/video/_4ZUotf2ovA/w-d-xo.html
    Fenugreek Face Mask - th-cam.com/video/ABhD0TPtjTc/w-d-xo.html

      Not really....lol...I googled it! I have an underactive thyroid and my general practioner (GP) was absolutley crap at informing me of the side affects of the medication and the condition. Only by talking to others did I realise that my symptoms: muscle weakness. dry skin, thining hair, fibromyaliga, disturbed sleep etc was going to always be a part of my life.I neve go to the GP now without doing my homework and always ask questions and try and use the correct medical terminology because doctors can be A**H**ES with a superiorority complex and do not like well informed patients. I am always looking for solutions to help me manage my condition and inprove myself....appearence is important to ones self esteem and if the facade looks bad you feel even worse. Thanks for the informative video, I am going to try and make the oil to see if this helps. Whoever said you can't teach a old dog new tricks was blinkered. :)

      Nap I am happy you have found the information you needed. I take Vit B12 there are a few different kinds the one which is cheaprst is cobalamin but it is not always well tolerated nor can the body upload it correctly to have a good effect especially if there is a defect in the genes....aparently 50% of the european population have a defect on 2 genes which help the body absorb Vit-D12. I take Methylcobalamin disolved under the tongue, and folate - not folic acid which is synthetic and not good- along with all the B vitimins, Q-10, selinieuim with P-S-P - a type of B6 the Bs are for energy and alertness. I take Vit-D3 (for myimmune system along side vit-K2 from NATTO and Magnesium Malete...the latter is BRILLIANT for the pains in your body and for me I can actually get a goodnights sleep 4 to 5 hours uninterrupted is HEAVEN. Invest in a trampoline/Rebounder and some weights to work the muscles last but not least Magnesium chloride made up with equal parts distiled water and Magnesium as a transdermal spray it is fantastic to help with muscle pain and tension in the shoulders plus I use 2 mug fulls of Magnesium Sulphate it in my bath to help get rid of the latic acid after a workout and it has the added benefit of making my skin very soft and silky. Ditch the fluoride toothpaste, I love Splat which I get on amazon - it's a Russian company but it is fantasic. Ditch your Teflon coated pans which are toxic and have been implicated in thyroid disorders. Hope this helps further with your health and wellbeing. please forgive the spelling mistakes.

    Hwy NC,
    I Just had to comment on this spritz. I'm a TRUE 4 dark skinned 4C woman with VERY brittle hair. I made the spritz a week ago and i spray my hair with it every other day. ( still waiting on the oil i made) anyway my hair is very soft now and i can finger comb it. NOT SURE WHATS IN THESE SEEDS BUT WOW! If it works on my hair it will work on anyone's hair- breakage is waaaay down and even a week later i can tell. Seriously, i can tell. My house still smells like it but I'll take it for finally having soft hair. thanks

    I tried it last week and went from a palmful of shedded hair to about a dime/penny size amount. I have extremely thiick hair and was able to finger detangle my entire head on wash day never once using a comb. I have been natural for a year and that has never happened. The results were immediate for my hair, as i noticed the very next day. You are right about the smell but it was a very faint maple smell. I used it as a hydration spritz during the remainder of the week when styling or manipulating my hair. Thank you so much for posting this spritz recipe.

    Can I tell you that this spritz is AMAZING!! I made this, but I also added the 'juice' of freshly grated ginger. It smells fantastic, but BOY, does it work. I have 3C very fine/thin hair. I am experiencing thinning due to my age and the 'change.' In one week, I have noticed that my hair is very moisturized. I use this as my daily spritz/styler because there isn't much I can do with my hair, except leave it alone. Today was wash day and the shedding was DRASTICALLY reduced!! I'll say about 20 strands of hair. No lie.
    This will be my spritz from now on. I got the fenugreek from a coworker who is Indian. She gave me a pack of Methi Bhardo which is the crushed Fenugreek seeds because she said it may be better. I LOVE this stuff. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

    Hey Ife!!! I love the recipes you share online. They are so easy to make. I use the fenugreek seeds to make a spritz (on the night before wash day) and I use the soaked seeds in a hair mask, where I blend them with avocado, banana, honey and a few oils. This way I get maximum use out of the seeds throughout the week. Thank you so much for these recipes. I'm currently making the moringa/fenugreek hair oil. Hoping for great results!

    I am so trying this!!!! With consistency in my regiment I've finally reached collarbone length after being natural 3 years and BCing twice. I've been looking a lot into Ayurvedic methods and so far I've adopted rhassoul clay washes, shikakai cleansers, and an amla and brahmi oil. My dry scalp is remedied but I'm working on strengthening my hair strands and trying to get shine through moisture so I think this spritz is just what I need especially while I have in these feeder braids

    I say it all the time, gaining long, healthy lengths on afro-textured hair is a THINKING game! Most women [with afro-textured hair] never get to these lengths based on guessing and chasing products. Interestingly, many of the women with super long afro-textured hair tend to be engineers, scientist, doctors and teachers. I've looked at about 10 of your videos. Based upon your current, consistent processes and procedures, I believe your hair will be at tail bone length within 1 to 3 years. Your hair routine is very similar to what women do that have afro-textured, tail bone length hair. That is not to infer that you have copied someone's routine. It is obvious that you have put lots of thought, love, sweat, effort and tears into your process. Amazingly, the routines are uncannily similar. There are tenets that one needs to understand and to follow and you do! See you at tail bone length!

    I did this for a few weeks and have gotten great results. My hair sheds and my strands are thin. I decided to use this with my new regime (22 century natural woman soap bar and conditioner) with a little oil and shea butter on the ends of my hair.
    I did a bentonite clay detox yesterday and was shocked at the growth I got (about 3 inches and I had cut off about 1 1/2 due to single strand knots --- I keep my hair in twists or loose braids and still get these 😞).
    This definitely has made a difference because I have less shedding, hence the growth.
    Thank you so much for posting.

      DL Jones Hey, just wanted to chime in and say, I am sorry about you having to cut your hair due to ssks, I used to get them alot and I tried everything, to try and eliminate their frequent occurrence. I know its controversial but have you looked into using heat to stretch your hair and using grease/pomades on your ends. I reluctantly started using heat and grease because my ends were taking a beating even though I was doing what I was "supposed to" and not retaining length because of constant breakage, tangling and frequent trims.

      Quick question- if you use it as a rinse, does anyone know if you shampoo, apply this, leave it on for about half an hour, wash out and then condition?
      And also if you choose to leave it in, does it make your hair look or feel oily??

    • @Kate-nt6bj
      @Kate-nt6bj 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hiholly4131 You can use it as a rinse, wait 10-15 mins then shampoo & condition. You should use a mild shampoo though so that the goodness the rinse has done, isn't ruined by adding harsh shampoo that strips your hair.

      So far I find that the spritz(fenugreek seeds soaked in distilled water for 24 hours and added about 15 drops of rosemary essential oil) makes my hair very smooth and soft I love the smell. I use it in conjunction with camille rose naturals products that I've been using for years so, the fenugreek spritz was the only new thing. My hair seems to also be easier to part when using the spritz. I also like the smell. It really compliments the smell that camille rose products have. I like fenugreek n Ginger which together is good as well 2-3 × a wk. The ginger fight dry scalp, inflammation, stimulates. Now I did the Alma spray which I made at home n strained 5 times to get the grit out but I found even adding Jojoba n Argan Oil but, my hair was dry. Alma hair oil works best for me n also Alma spray may need some more diluting w/ purified water hydrating water(Tap water in tbe USA has many chemicals/pollutants that dry the skin n hair) use less of powders if they call for 1 Tbsp for e example the dilute a little more w/water some of these natural hair sources can be stronger in powder strength n smell, yoy don't want to use too much, you can always add a little more if need be.
    I will stick w/Fenugreek n Ginger for Now, my hair has grown adding the Emu Oil, Jojoba, Argan, Alma or Castor Oil(both are thick, Castor Oil the thickest) n Carrot Oil-,Essentials Lavendar, Sandalwood or Peppermint. Come warmer days, Alma oil will be better than Castor Oil because of the thickness n melting in the hair to possible the face.

    I'm also wondering if I can use aloe Vera juice instead of water to soak the seeds🤔🤔🤔

      I use rose distillate to soak my seeds because that's what I use anyway, so just added fenugreek to the mix.

    I just picked up some seeds and I'm going to this this week! How often can you reuse the seeds?

    Question-- is there a downside to just leaving the seeds in the spray bottle with the liquid? Is there a reason to discard the seeds right after soaking?

      Kajal Singh how do I make the paste? Do I need a blender?

    • @immathechopsticksthatjinal5441
      @immathechopsticksthatjinal5441 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jt_6178 yes ofcourse you need a blender to make the fenugreek paste. An alternative is fenugreek tea,soak half spoon of fenugreek in a cup of warm water overnight,crush the fenugreek and strain the water. Use it as rinse or pre poo anything👌

    Ok. You said you experienced what the spritz did for you in one week. What differences did you notice about your hair. How did it make your hair feel? Stronger? Like say....a mild protein treatment? Or did it make your hair feel softer and more moisturized? What exactly did the Fenugreek spritz do for your hair in one week that has not been done before? How has this spritz improved the health of your hair up till now? Do you really have to soak it in water for 12 hours?
