Highlights of the Men's Figure Skating Freekating event at Hamar Olympic Amphitheatre on Day 4 of the 2016 Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer.
The Gold Medal was award to Japan's Sota Yamamoto after an impressive routine that edged out Latvia's Deniss Vasiljevs.

They make it look so easy, but I can barely keep my balance on the ice TT0TT...also, how do they even resist the cold?! Of course, they have to ignore it in order to perform, but Jesus christ....

To answer your question, they are sweating, not cold.
i did figure skating for a long time, not on that level (only european championships (junior class)). So yeah, I am one of the few guys in that sport.
Anyways, they make it look easy, but thats the practice and a lot of muscles and stamina (I stopped figure skating 16 years ago, and I can still do spinns and jumps, but after 2 minutes I am out of breath and my legs hurt).
As for not getting dizzy, well, by practice you get less and less dizzy, if you stop practicing for a couple of month, u get dizzy again from spinning.

Don't get me wrong, yoi was a decent ice skating anime that brought many fans to this sport, but their community is kind of taking over the comment section which makes it hard for other skating fans to enjoy.... Since all we want is for people to appreciate the skater's performance and most yoi fans just compare their fictional characters to the real life people...

Like we get it Yuri on ice got you here but instead of commenting "YoI GoT Me HErE" just watch at this beautiful video. Comment about your opinion on routines and stuff. Its way more interesting to see comments on peoples thoughts than a army of fangirl/boys commenting on how an amazing anime got you here !
