Talo, come to Bulgaria, Vratsa. We will find you where to stay, life here is cheap for foreigners and we have tons, I mean TONS of slab climbing in the most beautiful nature. Come and enjoy :) I forgot something. We love you and your vids :)
Talo I remember meeting you in Magic wood Switzerland back in 2018 or so, and being there with a bunch of really strong boulders who were all working 7c+ or higher. And I remember them getting on this 7b slab and each one getting totally shut down, only to watch you later float up the thing. Your slab climbing is truly an art
I have been waiting for this video to come out. Long wait, but it did not dissapoint. It was great to see Johnny; its all about your feet! @talo if you ever come out to Southern California give me shout. Many projects off the beaten path awaiting for you.
just found this movie after having visited my friend who's local at La Pedriza this past spring and I absolutely fell in love with the place. Thank you very much Talo for this movie, it brings back awesome memories
I’m fluent in both Spanish and English and the seamless transition from one language to the other was really weird😂. I just kept reading the subtitles for a hot minute until I realized it was a different language. Loved the video!!
I enjoyed the previous episodes and I enjoyed the movie as well :) Was laughing almost through the whole video :) Thank for your work Talo and cheers to La Pedriza and everyone involved!
Awesome video! Slab climbing is definitely becoming the forgotten lost art! My climbing gym has about a 100:1 dyno to slab ratio and I feel so many routes lack technique nowaday. Stoked to see more folks channeling their inner bear!
@Talo Martin funny you mention that, im looking for a new pair of shoes now and having a hard time finding shoes that let me climb the techy 5.11-12 stuff "comfortably". Got any recommendations?
Awesome video, really liked the Jonny Dawes bits especially! Great work... Is the Barbosa Crack in the La Pedriza 963 vias book? I can't find it (there seems to be no Piratas wall in the book?)... would be amazing to check it out.
THANKS for that🤘 Yeah, Piratas doesn't appear in that guidebook as it's just a selection that it's been repeatedly re-edited without newer routes. Piratas is just 100 right of La Peseta, and below Peña Sirio spur. Shaded until mid day

Nice film Talo 🤙
It was! You'll love it next time🏴☠️
I loved seeing Johnny still crushing in this film and waxing poetic as always... ❤ 👊🏼

@@talomartin8481 He is!! 🔥🔥🔥
As someone who absolutely hates slab climbing, this has got me quite psyched to try some more slabs! Fantastic video
Thanks so much. I really appreciate this words🤘

Love to see slab repped in such an exciting positive way :) Necesito volver prontoooo 🙏🏽
Slabs are always positive 🤘😜
“I mean, I think it’s gone from anarchic to fascist, probably” - Johnny Dawes on the state of modern climbing (if I heard him correctly). 😂
Historic quotes 😆🤘
"You must get on top of that rock for the glory of our nation!"
Johnny Dawes absolute fkin legend.
I’m fluent in both Spanish and English and the seamless transition from one language to the other was really weird😂. I just kept reading the subtitles for a hot minute until I realized it was a different language. Loved the video!!
Glad you like it anyways😁😆
the same happened to me hahah
Awesome job as always, Talo, thanks for sharing! It's already probably my favourite slab climbing video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks man🤘
It's not about the climbing so much it's the way Johnny's expression of the rock- poetic ❤️
Exactly🤘
Great film and footage! I'm stoked to see new routes going up and climbers learning to love granite! La Pedriza!!!
Thanks man, appreciate it a lot🔥
27:39 Tom Randall ...?
Nice movie, it has this sort of "old school" vibe to it, like watching young Chris Sharma's "Rampage"
Thanks man 🤘
Gracias.
Muchas gracias a tí 🤘😊

Gracias a ti Juan Pedro🤘🤘🤘
Grandes todos los que ahí salen!! Buenísimo Talo, enhorabuena 👏👏👏
Muchas gracias tronquete 🤘🤘🤘😊
Seeing that John Dawes still has the no hands moves 20 years later is quite an inspiration!
He'll always be the Stone Monkey 🐒

I love Johnny, siempre en mi equipo! 🤜⚡🤛

Legend! Great movie Talo
Thanks Tom 🙏🤘
thanks for putting this together. Awesome video
Muchas gracias🤘🤘🤘🙏😊
There is a walking slab on Curbar that Johnny and I need to try again.
Would love to see that🤘
Guau... Buahhh...
Es el mejor😁🤘
5:00 guy is so right. Slabs are the best way to learn how to be fast on easy terrain.
Of course
Perfect! Slab Justice!
Thanks mate 🤘🔥

Awesome video! Slab climbing is definitely becoming the forgotten lost art! My climbing gym has about a 100:1 dyno to slab ratio and I feel so many routes lack technique nowaday. Stoked to see more folks channeling their inner bear!
Exactly. You just have to see the climbing shoes market.. All are made for gyms and not for technical climbing anymore
@Talo Martin funny you mention that, im looking for a new pair of shoes now and having a hard time finding shoes that let me climb the techy 5.11-12 stuff "comfortably". Got any recommendations?
It's annoying, my gym doesn't set any slab harder than 7a+ (and its a soft 7a+ at that) but its such rewarding discipline!
@@mindsmatter606 what FR size do you use mate?
@Talo Martin my walking shoe size is 47-48 in FR but usually downsize for the climbing shoes

We have some great granite slabs down here in Victoria, but everything is horribly sandbagged, you always feel like a punter! ha
Make a new guidebook and then the grades will be ok😜🤘
@@talomartin8481 haha I like it. Everything I can't do can just be 5.14 slab 😂
@@za8002fsr i also feel like I punt on 80's slabs but at the end everything is in your mind 🤘
What are the best months to come in the spring?
Earlier spring better, north faced walls still cold till may ish

Gracias a tí tronquetttt🤘🤘
awesome film, sometimes you love the slab and sometimes it’s slaps you in the face

Saludos
