You know you’ve made it as a cultural phenomenon when you compile a spinal tap like satire. Well done. Rock climbing badly needs this as it frequently takes itself way way too seriously.
Jesus Christ, 2014 feels so good. I don’t know if anyone else just got the feeling that they jumped back to the mid 2010s but wow does it feel great. Awesome job guys I also just can’t believe how much of this you were able to film, and do a good job at that.
Oh wow never thought I’d see New Paltz highlighted! One of my favorite little towns upstate. Lagusta’s Luscious is amazing and the hike on the Staircliff path at Mohonk is hard and beautiful!
Oh, man...this was fantastic! I've been climbing since 1975, and this epic adventure totally reminded me of why I got into climbing in the first place. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride!
This may be the first time I've ever "liked" "commented" and "subscribed" because of one video from people I've never heard of. Jimmy Chin, these boys are coming for you bro.
This deserves way more recognition. Amazing mental and physical skills nedeed to achieve this from both of you (and the camera crew!). And the fact that despite the dangerous moments you were still having fun makes it even better! Had a great time watching it. Hope to see more of you in the future. Thank you for making and sharing this to everyone who was a part of it
An instant classic. This generation's Downward Bound. Warren Harding, Robbins, Chouinard, Ed Abbey, Sheridan Anderson should all be proud, as am I of you youngsters. I'll raise a PBR toast to your names. Cheers, old climber dude
I’ve been watching random climbing videos lately and this just popped up. Halfway through and I was like, that looks like my homie Drew, and then realized it was. What up Drew! Sick vid.
This was so great. I loved seeing all the classics I’ve been on in a different light. Hope you guys enjoyed your stay out here and actually got some time after your historic send actually going up them too!
Better than anything from the last Reel Rock and probably the best climbing film I've seen since the Brad Gobright (RIP) vs Honnold Nose Speed Record film
Such a cool film, you really portrayed the fun of climbing, just dicking about on some rocks with your mates and pushing yourself to the brink physical and mental destruction, class!
I freakin' love all of this. Look how psyched people all are in the comments! This is a really cool climbing vid. Completely unique. (Whatup Ben. Long time brotha.)
Wow! Until 20 minutes and 53 seconds ago, The Eiger Sanction was my favorite climbing film! I think it was the acting that swayed my decision towards The Long Wall. Named after John Long?
Well, I should have qualified that I'm not noted as a movie critic, but I do know that Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing is preferable to any lite beer swill! @@WellGoodMedia
Beyond enjoyable and an epic adventure for the ages. I’ve climbed many of those routes and will forever look at the wall in all directions now. What a fun video!!!
Loved that vid, the shots, the satire and foremost the copious amounts of lichen. Cheers from a place where you actually use UFO slings and knots. I always get frowned upon when using them somewhere else, but they work on all types of rock, just as you showcased.
Epic.... climbing down to the sound of violin and drums.... no one has ever attempted that... looking forward to a brave operator that can offer that on a indoor climbing wall.
hahaha GOD DAMN. DREW. TH-cam PLUGGED this to me and I've had it in my watch later for about two months without realizing it was YOU. Really fucking good dude. I thought I was going to be watching some sort of weird, serious documentary that was cool but then I got this piece of fucked meat instead. GREAT!
Best climbing film since the dodos delight! Love it. Yes, as people are writing, climbing got way to serious. Who needs those olympics, its about having fun on great adventures and is a place for dirtbags Keep on drinking, but not forget to climb ;-)
OK...lol This is similar to a Mocumetary called 'Almost Alpine' about two guys who climb/traverse a 7,000ft+ wall in West Virginia not too far from Seneca.
I'm 33 and I still wore a helmet for the entire duration of the video 🫡
Safety first!
Finally some non serious stuff... So much better than any pro climber media. Great job guys, great filming, give these guys a contract.
Progresso soup sign us up!
Rad as hell. completely encompasses how ridiculous but awesome rock climbing is
Sense makes much not
@@WellGoodMedia _You only live to get radical!_
I'm over 17 but had to wear a helmet to watch these daredevils and _still_ got post-traumatic vertigo.
@@dancarter482 We're frothing so hard right now.
This is the kind of quality climbing video I've been waiting for my while life
You know you’ve made it as a cultural phenomenon when you compile a spinal tap like satire. Well done. Rock climbing badly needs this as it frequently takes itself way way too seriously.
I feel the same way!
Ken Nichols first ascent says it all
Couldn't have said it better.
This was so amazing! Best climbing film of the year!
That means a lot! Hope this brings some send sauce
Jesus Christ, 2014 feels so good. I don’t know if anyone else just got the feeling that they jumped back to the mid 2010s but wow does it feel great.
Awesome job guys I also just can’t believe how much of this you were able to film, and do a good job at that.
This was absolutely incredible. Killer job to the people filming too! It looked incredible!
The boys were sending unknown crust to fix lines.
The cam 1 foot below the bolt on a downclimb and climbing with approach shoes had me in stitches. Thank you for making this!
Oh wow never thought I’d see New Paltz highlighted! One of my favorite little towns upstate. Lagusta’s Luscious is amazing and the hike on the Staircliff path at Mohonk is hard and beautiful!
Hands down one of the coolest small towns on the East Coast. Big up New Paltz!
gunks local here, UNREAL WORK guys 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
This was the most unexpected and honestly just best climbing doc I have ever watched
🥷🏽🫶
Certainly one of the top 5...neh 3...of the most important accents in the history of climbing. Unbelievable guys. Well done.
"I've heard that, that Alex... Hotdog guy, he was pretty fast" ---> pure gold
Where’s he at?!?
Oh, man...this was fantastic! I've been climbing since 1975, and this epic adventure totally reminded me of why I got into climbing in the first place. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride!
We feel you!
I think Drew and Ben's grandfathers weren't even born in 1975.
@@cre8tvedge 🙂Quite possibly not!
Commenting and liking for the algorithm. Seems like a criminally under-viewed channel

The best climbing video ever! My home crag sent in approach shoes! And no Patagonia-esque virtue signaling best of all. Just pure fun!
I found these guys in Jamaica filming a rock-climbing documentary. Very cool people and amazing video!
I met Gareth on the plane there!

One of the most phenomenal climbing vids I’ve seen in years. Makes me want to go do something stupid in the mountains

The frozen egg 😂 cutting the haul bag 😂 and the really sketchy climbing was incredible!!

First time the TH-cam algorithm works. Really enjoyed this film, great to see some humour in climbing!
