- Welcome back guys. This video is a brief introduction of my new DIY career of painting my ZX6R, two Hayabusa's and a GSXR!!! Crazy I know...but we have to start somewhere. I hope you can follow me along with these projects. ☺

This video is the introduction of a whole bunch of fairings I want to paint myself and hopefully by the time I'm finished my videoing skills would have improved too! Thanks.
That’s a bad experience. My Repsol fairings from Alliexpress were really good and fitted well. Even the blue sections were the right shade and not black as many are. All fitted easily too! Now, I’ve ordered another set for a ZX6R. Fingers crossed
That's good to hear! My ZX6R fairing's are coming together really well. I've just been too busy with the other bike. I'd be interested to here what brand is stamped on the inside of your new fairings. The Chinese ZXYM brand that I have here so far is a very good fit. One more side panel to dress and clear mounting tabs and holes and it's ready for paint.
It’s been a while now since you’ve got them. How did they fit? And have they lasted well? I ate a pothole yesterday and my left bottom fairings snapped and 2 hoses came off 🤦♂️ looking to get an unpainted one because they’re cheaper and painting it myself. Also a zx6r
@jiren5245 I haven’t painted mine yet but I have finished fitting them up. The fit has been spot on but they need careful detailing before painting. Every hole and tab needs a small amount of filing or deburring or clearance drilling to size but they fit up nicely. Really nice actually and the detailing is what you would expect from something out of a mould….. I’m about to make another video on that fairing for my zx6r. A thumbs up from me.
@@KJmotoplus And the fitting of my ZX6R fairing went well. I went for green and black painted fairings with a small amount of paint customisation that they didn’t charge extra for (black over green on the tip of the seat cowl). A few blobs of paint which is a bit sloppy but otherwise really pleased. I’ve also had some compliments asking if it’s a new bike. It’s 17 years old 😂
That's good news! We adjusted the cam chain tensioner a few weeks ago and mine now sounds like a new bike too! ☺
