Looks good. I did an update on mine a few years ago but put off updating the tac due to not knowing the what color wires to use on the old connection to Gen 2 wire connection. Can provide the color combination hook up? I’d really appreciate it.
Both gens look great, but I really do prefer the gen 1 body work overall, I even prefer it to the brand new gen 3 look. IDK... just something nice about it.. what I like most about gen2 and gen 3 though is how similar they both look to a gen 1 busa... even though they are different they pay a great homage to the original in their own right.
Your best bet would be to look up the wiring diagram of your specific bike, then compare it to the diagram of a gen 2, from there you can match the colors to the appropriate one. Lots of forums on the Hayabusa dating back since its release date almost, I’m sure someone has pictures or step by step on how to do it.
its kinda simple bro just google the wiring diagram for both gens the wires basically match up but a few colors are alil off. the gear indicator is the only wire the dnt match up

You need the side fairings from a gen 2 as well because the headlight cowl connects to the fairing and it’s a different shape from gen 1
How did you connect gen 2 dash on the gen 1 are the plugs pretty much the same?
the wiring harness almost match up the colors are slightly different n your gear indicator wont work

No only way is to use a gen 2 trans or change the plug where it connects to trans.

Why not just buy a gen 2
Lower compression engine compared to the gen 2, much better and more reliable for a turbo build.
