We just picked up our i5 edrive40 around a month ago and it’s been really good, we got a very nice deal on it too at about 270 pounds a month through a business contract hire lease for 4 years in total.

I’ve had mine for 2 months now; I traded my G87 M2. Really happy with it, a great daily. Won’t hurry back to an ICE unless it’s a classic. EV experience is brilliant.

@ M2 was amazing but it was a manual and I live in Sydney, so probably the wrong car choice for my needs as a daily. 👍
Yeees, can't wait to see this. Testdrove it as soon as it came out in Norway. Super comfortable and nice to drive, although I got less than 30 mins in it. I need higher ground clearance and more trunk space so it's a no for me but I liked it. My iX3 M-Sport (with a performance grill 😁) has everything I need. Only thing I wish BMW could improve is the charging speed, we'll see with Neue Klasse 🙏🏼
I was genuinely surprised with how well it behaved on a road. It managed it weight really well and the amount of power was just right for a daily purposes. I would love to try iX3. I bet it’s a comfy cruiser.
@@MDrivesit is Marek and just know that my heart is in BMW's with lower ground clearance but with these harsh winters in Norway I kept scraping the bottom of the previous car and had to switch to SUV 😅

you should be able to disable speed warning by pressing and holding SET button on the steering wheel for a second or so.
That’s a good tip! Shame you have to do this every time, but at least it can be done easily.

I agree it will drop a lot. But I can’t argue with the fact that it’s a nice car for non-petrolheads. A to B, it does the stuff right.
@ I had one on loan when my m2 comp was in the main dealer for service. The assistant tried to tell me this electric car is basically the equivalent of an m4. “Erm no it’s not” I said. When I returned it she asked what I thought of it. “Garbage” I said I will never be brainwashed to buy such crap that is not the future of motoring. Government propaganda
