dude I thought I was the only one... for some reason only that one song. it's not even my favorite in the game, but it's just so damn catchy and once it appears, it just keeps replaying in my head for hours, sometimes days unless I actively look for something to replace it. the only other game that did this to me was crash bandicoot (1 and 3), which is weird because my most played PS1 games are DD2, Driver and Gran Turismo. sure I played DD1 a lot as well, but not nearly as much as the others since it was already out when I got my PS1.

I saw the future when I got a chance to play on a brand-new Japanese PS1 way back in the 90s (it was before the PS1 had even been released in Europe or the US). So, yeah, it's exactly like you say. That's also why I had a blast during this time period as a teen.
This is what the current generation of gamers don't understand. They buy a new console to play remasters with slightly upgraded graphics. A lot of games on the Switch were released on the Wii U. Heaps of games being released on the PS5 were also released on the PS4 and even the PS3 before that. They just announced GTAV is going to be re-re-released on the PS5, when it was originally released on the PS3 and already had a re-release on the PS4. Who gives a shit. What happened to the "killer apps" that provided new experiences that could only be accomplished on a new system? I suppose VR did have a resurgence a few years ago, offering gamers a new experience, but that seemed to have died out fairly quickly.

Its about 2 years later now and i started up destiny 1 again just because anthem aint right and made me miss it. Had to put this back on didnt i.... great ost. Yeah its a wierd mix but it was more to use as a timer than anything else, (id just about have an hour between university and work), but apparently 2 years later i cant have one without the other!!
If you still have the original game put the game disc into a cd player and the soundtrack will start playing I did this as a kid just purely out of curiosity and it worked the songs are placed into a MIX file if I recall.
Anyone know the real titles of these tracks? Years ago I came across a source saying track 1 is called Trashers Delight, 2 is Crash Boom Bang, 3 is Hardhitter, 4 is One Against All, and some others afterwards. I really can't find them anywhere apart from the DD wiki (of which I'm admin of).
