Didn’t work initially. Starting fluid in the cylinder and got it to turn over. Started. Got up to speed and solid/stable. Shut off and starts up instantly. Bought whatever random one on Amazon. Took 15min. I replaced the fuel lines as the kit came with as well, the fuel line grommet took some TLC. Angle. Screwdriver. Needle nose to twist back and forth for the seal to lock. Easiest one I’ve swapped thus far.
@@smallengineguysGood call! It ran and started consistently. I do need to find a manual (bought used from buddy) on prime/choke/throttle position for starting. It’s been a cryptic process and would hope to know best path forward.

Got the grommet in. My machine is still running at 60% power like before I changed the carburetor. What is going on with my machine if it’s just now fully powered up? (Spark plug is spaced to .65 as well.)
I replaced my carburetor right along with you. I now I have a string trimmer that runs just like new. Thanks a million!
Glad I could help!
Single mom here with no clue how to repair much of anything. Used this video to replace the carb on my Echo. It started right up. Thank you!
My kind of woman right here! You go girl!

Glad it was helpful!
It'll be nice if you had tripod to exhibit your video. Did you use both gaskets on either side of your new carburetor? Or did I miss that.
Straight forward and to the point. Thanks
yep. any time.
did you miss the front gasket/
Great job. Buying a new carb is almost as cheap as buying a rebuild kit. Definitely less work.
and it works every time
Awesome video! You put that grommet in like a champ. I had to use a little WD-40 for mine.
Great tip!

Why is there two gaskets with this kit?
one for between carb and motor one for between carb and airfilter.
The link for the carb is no good. Which brand did you go with off Amazon?
