The same way better than the last ones. At 2:12 - 2:47 the docking point will not fit unless you first unlock the bag with the key from inside then pull the handle as high as it will go, which requires release you the spring-loaded latch.
I just picked up and installed the V3s for my FXLR today. Installation was very easy and solid. There's a lot to love about these bags, but I do have one slightly less than superlative comment. In this video, it is explained that they will stand up on their own when removed from the bike. I'm sure that is probably the case in most instances. However, one of the my bags will not. When placed on a level surface, that one bag just falls over. Not truly a big deal at all, but it is a tad disappointing, especially since it mentioned as a feature/benefit in the video.
I have a set of your V1 bags and was just wondering where I could get a license plate mount like the one you have that keeps the bullet signals. I've got a tail light with integrated signals and people have told me it's very difficult to see the signals during the day or if I'm braking.
Just got my v3 bags and I am having a hard time to access square nut to bite little harder from latch handle. With this a new design v3 and unlike V2, I cannot get my wrench to turn the nut with small window of hole where the nut is set. Anyone can help on this matter?
Nope, that will not work. Our bags are very specific to the model of bike, and they have all the hardware built in. Currently we only make bags to fit Harley's
No, Harley uses a different docking point than we do for their accessories. However you can stack them. We normally use a chrome spacer to move the bags out from the bike a little, but you can use Harley's docking points instead of that chrome spacer. That way you can use our bags and Harley's quick detach sissy bar at the same time.
@@leatherpros8060 im a little lost.. so if i buy harleys docking points, which are the circular tabs that mount to fender yeah?, both your bags and the hd quick d sissy will work without a spacer on those at the same time?
@@cuzj2088 Yes, you can use them at the same time. Both docking points are like sleeves that go on the strut bolts on your bike. Our docking points get stacked outside of the HD docking points. You can see what I mean in our instruction video for the V2 bags, which are similar to the V3's. th-cam.com/video/9TSWhPMUu_o/w-d-xo.html
It depends on what you mean by plug and play. You will have to relocate your turn signals, just like the OEM bags. Our mounting hardware is completely different from the OEM system. All you have to do to mount them is swap out your strut bolts with the ones we include and our docking points. Then the bags clamp onto the bolts.
Leather Pros I was wondering if the OEM hardware would work with these bags but your response gave me my answer. Now I have to save up for a set. Thank you.
The fabric itself is waterproof, but the seams aren't taped and the zippers are not waterproof. So you should be fine for short periods in the rain, but if you leave your bike out in a downpour, your stuff will probably get a little damp inside. The bags themselves will not be harmed by the rain though. Our friends at JD Customs make a rain cover that can be purchased here: jdcustomsandfabrications.bigcartel.com/product/fxdxt-retro-t-sport-bag-rain-covers
Because we don't make them anymore. Our bags are made to order and we don't have a large inventory sitting around that we would be trying to get rid of. We just offer single bags of the V2's now in case someone wrecks a bag and needs a matching replacement.
Cant go wrong with Leatherpro Retros, Im still rockin my 1st generation bags on my ride. Highly recommend Leather Pros.

NICE! They look awesome can’t wait to have the extra coin to get these!
Great design. Good job to your CAD team.
Siik! Nice upgrades just got V2s late last year and still love them, great to know there's some thing new to look forward to

Damn. Literally just got my V2s.
Do the rear signals have to be relocated when they are mounted to the fender strut?

How did these specific bags become so popular with dyna’s???
They look good, hold the most cargo and are good price
Would these fit a 2019 Fat Bob that already has the quick detach hardware for a sissy bar? Thanks.

You ever figure it out? I’m searching for answers right now haha
Hei guys. Was thinking to order a set today.
Will they fit a 2012 Victory Hammer? Or do i have to do some adjustments to them?
Cheers!

Are these plug and play for FXDXTs? Will they go on exactly like OEM T-Sport bags?

As far as size of bag concerns, V2 bags and V3 bags are same size in overall right?
Yes that is correct
do these hold up in the rain? in the ballistic version?

@@leatherpros8060 awesome, thanks!
do your fxr bags come with brackets or do they sell separately?
All of our bags come with brackets.
Able to be used with quick disconnect sissy bar?
Yes! They are completely compatible with Harley's detachable accessories.
Does this fit a 2017 FXDLS with a hard sissy bar?
Yes they will fit your bike.
Do you guys have any Canadian dealers?
We do have a few, but most of them don't stock our products, you have to special order them. Barnes Harley of Langley and Denco Cycles come to mind.
Is there any way you ship them to europe?
Yes, you can get bags shipped to Europe through leatherpros.com. However, you will have to pay customs fees when receiving them.
@@leatherpros8060 do you have an estimation of this price if shipped to France please?
You would have to check with your country’s import tax rates.
Why are not the V2s cheaper now?
