I know it didnt happen but I picture hilarious scene of Jordan taunting and doing that laugh he did to Scott in The last dance to Gervin and Gervin just totally taken aback like wth is wrong with this fool😂
Remember folks, this OLD Detroit man was the one that busted the rookie Jordan's ass in the 1985 NBA All Star Game that his agent decided to concoct the BS story that Isiah Thomas froze him out in the game. This is the same dude that averaged nearly 20 a game when Jordan got injured and Jordan being so insecure told management not to play Gervin once he returned from that injury.
The Ice Man was big in the 70s like Jordan was in the 90s Jordan came into the league he wanted to make a name for himself. I know the Ice Man pulled him to the side many times…..

This makes no sense. Lebron factually makes players worse while Jordan makes players better. There's statistical proof almost every great player that's played w Lebron has seen their number drop so basically the opposite of what you're saying. There's also factual proof Jordan makes players better.
Jordan jawing Gervin could’ve been due to the ice out all star game of 86’. 😮 Jordan being the ultimate competitor didn’t care who or what your age was. You were getting it

The young studs of sports sometimes don't treat the older athletes very well. Like when Tom Brady had very little nice to say about Steve Grogan and when Dustin Padroia said Jerry Remy sucks 😞

Just so you all know, I have another TH-cam page called Michael Jordan fans are the worst sports fans of all time. Please subscribe to the page. This is the link to the page - www.youtube.com/@michaeljordanfansaretheworst
that ice man poster was popular back then
I know it didnt happen but I picture hilarious scene of Jordan taunting and doing that laugh he did to Scott in The last dance to Gervin and Gervin just totally taken aback like wth is wrong with this fool😂
If MJ did do this it's nothing compared to what lebron james did and what he is doing.
Love some cool my Frat Brother Nupe Mr. Cool a true Nupe. ♦️👌🏿💯♦️watch and love his game as a kid. Got the finger roll too sky high.
The Ice Man was big in the 70s like Jordan was in the 90s Jordan came into the league he wanted to make a name for himself. I know the Ice Man pulled him to the side many times…..
I really want to hear those stories.
Iceman, one of my favorites from back in the day.
GG was 1/3 of the reason i wore #44 in HS & college. The other 2/3? Jerry West & Pete Maravich. Usually, those higher numbers were reserved for big men. That's why i wore a t-shirt under my jersey.
My man ice man
His finger roll was legendary! Greatest of all time. But his lethally accurate jumper was also great! Smoothest jumper I’ve ever seen!
Jerry Butler the great R and B singer was the oirginal Ice Man, George became the 2nd Ice MAN his game was cold
Gervin was snorting that stuff Mike didn't respect that and took it personally
That's the Snow man.. 😮😮
@@martinosborne6635 🤣
And mike wasn’t tootin?💀
@@Sizzle403 I think at later part of his career. I think most of them smoke weed. But they get to those hotel rooms and get it on.. can't really tell who is doing what.
@@martinosborne6635 in the last dance they mentioned the “ Chicago bulls cocaine article” to mike he laughed it off n acted like he wasn’t partaking
If Gervin played with young Lebron instead of Jordan, he would've averaged at least 20 PPG in his last year. There's levels to this. Then again, it's obvious Gervin didn't like being called "old man" is it possible that Jordan said in jest? Like when Kobe called MJ old man?
What's the level? Because Lebron doesn't respect his elders and the ones that came before him so please explain what "level" you're speaking of?
So would you like to go on my program and go over what you wrote?
This makes no sense. Lebron factually makes players worse while Jordan makes players better. There's statistical proof almost every great player that's played w Lebron has seen their number drop so basically the opposite of what you're saying. There's also factual proof Jordan makes players better.
I had that poster. It burned up in our house fire with the rest of my posters and all our stuff.
Jordan jawing Gervin could’ve been due to the ice out all star game of 86’. 😮
Jordan being the ultimate competitor didn’t care who or what your age was. You were getting it
This is all in your mind. You're just braiwnashed by the media about Michael Jordan. And before you tell me im wrong, if you like, you can go on my program and debate me on what ever you disagree on, so let me know if you want to go on.
Just noticed that in the 85-86 season George and MJ averaged the same minutes and fouls while George shot a higher FG%, FT% and 3FG% with less turnovers. MJ averaged 1 more assist, 1 more rebound, 1.5 more steals, 1.5 more blocks.
And how many more points??
@@JM00237 MJ averaged more points on more shots. I didn't look at those because I thought that was obvious.

@@JDogg0623 typical Jordan fanboy
at one point I remember MJ said that there should BE NO BULL PLAYER WHO'S SALARY IS MUCH HIGHER THAN HIS.that was in '86 season.
The best. No one even comes close. The NBA just didn't put the pieces around him.
How can you do that to the Iceman when he's the one who paved the way for him
Who paved the way for no one lol
@@jake-qn3tl Of course he did he was one of the ones who paved the way for people like Jordan and other where did the Finger roll come from.
@@CharlesTremaine It's not like George Gervin invented movement lol nobody cares about this prune
Not to be told 😂😂😂😂
The young studs of sports sometimes don't treat the older athletes very well. Like when Tom Brady had very little nice to say about Steve Grogan and when Dustin Padroia said Jerry Remy sucks 😞

That poster was popular in real time. It became iconic as time went on. Iceman was a walking bucket! Could make an argument for top 5 small forward. Definitely to 10 and probably more like to 7
His iceman poster was one of the greatest sports posters of all time
It is always hard on the Old Guard being replaced by the new! Look at history. They stated same about Tiger, Kareem, Reed, Magic ....
Maybe he was joking but if not that is very disrespectful to a great scorer
Do u somehow not know jordan is one of the biggest assholes around? 🤔
Wasn’t joking Jordan a asshole
Great player but Jordan’s a jerk stop making excuses
Not just a great player, but to also a classy respectful person
You'll have no idea Who G. GERVIN/ THE ICE MAN AKA MR. finger roll is. Classic scorer🫡
I believe it.. when Jordan was young he was very arrogant and was still learning how to respect, particularly older guys
iceman fantastic shooter
I still have my ICEMAN poster
I want past greats tell more facts on how MJ mistreated them.
I mean, do you know of any person that goes: I wanna hang out with Michael Jordan.
If youre a free agent, would you want to play with Michael Jordan, considering how he is as a person AND considering he has the backing of the organization and the whole league?
Gervin, Ervin Thompson and Kenon...Ya Heard !
Is it me, or does the chemistry seem off between these two?
They was calling them young bucks and rooks. He called Magic and Bird old men too but he how great they were.
The best trade the Bulls made was trading David Greenwood for Ice Man.
best nba poster of all time
George Gervin was an asshole too! He gave me the worst paddling I've ever had. He was my P.E. teacher in Gary, Indiana. I'll NEVER forget that!
Iceman🥶
I miss the shoes. Does anyone have a pair of size 10 to sell?
Yeah for a 100000 dollars
He is the 70s version of KD of today
Kind of mind boggling that a 32-33 year old man would be called 'old' in ANY context, and why would it bother them? I'm a decade older than that and it doesn't bother me, because I know I'm in my physical prime.
Well don't take this in a negative way, but a human is not in there prime in there 40's then.
GREAT VIDEO SIR!
