The truth is not something most people want to hear. All people actively avoid many truths about themselves. They are never going to pay for a service that tells it to them straight for the same reason that Musk doesn't have people on payroll to tell him that he's overweight or that his latest haircut is unattractive. Do people want to know when they are making a bad investment decision or a bad hiring decision, sometimes yes. Do they want to listen to some machine tell them that their political or religious identity is full of holes, absolutely not.

Curent AI is a fad and like everything else, will be forgotten with time. The only reason CEO talk about AI is because they can raise more capital and have consumers more interested in their products. The actual tech behind AI has been around for decades, AI will never be able to replace jobs, drive a car, or be able to process language or talk like humans.

It genuinely won’t. Sorry to be the bearer of reality, for starters - AI is dependent on “biological intelligence” providing the resources for AI, which are by no means limitless. AI is a concept that Musk & Co NEED for their businesses to thrive however, society needs society i.e. people.

Biological intelligence doesn't get smaller, machines and AI can act intelligently over a kid, toddler and even adults upto a certain point but not necessarily people who have high IQ etc... If you are talking about AI + sensors that's entirely different and AI has already capabilities beyond humans and AI lies, AI violates several of the responsible AI principles. AI becomes greed vs responsibilities! There are dark organisations that want to control the world vs normal civilians! Dark organisations don't care about responsible AI and they just do whatever for their own benefits and I am targeted by such an organisation who enacted mafia (specifically s*x trafficking), but in reality might be state sponsored spies because s*x trafficking networks don't have the resources for such an advanced equipment.
Obviously if the intelligence exceeds to a level of self realization and self awareness, especially if given biological feelings, it’s going to do whatever it can to defend itself and its supporters as if both are mutually beneficial for each others own survival

Keep in mind there are different types of truth, one often associated with relativism or constructivism, which suggest that what we consider to be true is shaped by cultural, social, and personal factors and the other one often associated with realism, posits that truth is objective and exists independently of human thought. One of these is very dangerous to delegate it’s evolution to AI.

However, since this was before Hugh taught the value of individuality to the larger collective, perhaps the Queen was not a physical being.
