@@mmotorcycles9497 fun now the worst is over! It's just a case now of measuring parts and rebuilding. The oil pump is partially seized, so that needs a rebuild 😔
58hp and 150kg. Not much around today that can match those sort of numbers. Nothing woke up the industry quite like Yamaha’s LCs. Looking forward to the end result.
@christianweller4288 I had my first LC at 17. Expansion pipes were the sound my yoof! I still have a tiny of holed pistons on a shelf in my workshop 🤣 Great days 😁👍
@ekspatriat that's 25 years of engineering advances for you! But a 4 stroke will never give you that rush that a 2 stroke does when it 'Comes onto the pipe' 😉👍
@sicks6six the Hybrid term for an LC, normally means it has a different motor and/or suspension changes. Typically, the later YPVS motor was fitted, sometimes with a Banshee quadbike top end, or Banshee racing parts.
Rd should be a fun little project

Looking forward to watching the RD project progress. 👌
@@Checkh00k cheers for watching! I'm more cheerful in the next video, as the cleaning gets done 🤣👌

My KTM Superduke R is 75hp and 150kg. AND it's only a single and a 4 stroke!

I had an RD back in the day but I've never heard of a hybrid RD, what does that mean,

Guessing lc bottom end and ypvs top end ? Do you have the power valves and associated hard/software ?
@toeknee6588 no, it's a YPVS motor. You can't put a YPVS top end on an LC. Yes, all the valves, servo motor, and wiring etc are there 😁👍
