You forgot to mention these bikes have a feature I've never seen on any other bike - removal pieces at the back of swing arm enabling wheel removal without knocking the spindle out. I went to South of France on one of these in 1988 and had to go slow so my mate could keep up on his yummy rxs and was doing 90mpg!

I think of my modern Royal Enfield Classic 350 as a "cool" bike and is my "Thing of Beauty". It gets so much attention while I am out and about and a lot of older guys who are no longer into the current biking scene think the bike is a lot older than it is. My current Honda's never get any attention really and oh, I am an old bloke haha.

Hi, thanks for the video. I just bought Premium MMI V6 MKII. Not being used to the cables it did take me more than 2 minutes LOL! But after installing it it works brilliantly. No problem connecting to my iPhone. The biggest problem is putting the back seat back. I looked at other options. But since you can install this under the back seat, and it works. I can highly recommend Premium Retrofit to anyone who would like to upgrade to carplay. I am really glad that I did not have to pull everything apart to connect via the glove compartment. I think where you placed the MMI V6 is a good place. I placed mine on the other side, with some light padding to secure it. I have a second hand 2022 i3S and what really annoys me is why BMW had CarPlay as an extra option when ordering the car. CarPlay should have come installed as part of the package. Also the fact that even though it is a pretty easy upgrade, why BMW blatantly refuses to retrofit CarPlay? Especially since their idrive 6 is pretty outdated and their maps are inferior to what CarPlay is able to offer. I think that this part is just arrogant and very poor service from BMW. I still love the i3S, it is so much fun to drive. Not sure if my next car will be a BMW though, now they have stopped making the i3 101.

Good Lord….. the 750 was hairy enough, but the 11 was an absolute monster. I made sure I only admired it from a very safe distance, so not to frighten my license and wallet. :D

I'm currently riding a 2007 VFR800 that I picked up for not very much last year, and my slow restoration project is my dream bike as a 16 year old - a yellow RD250F. Both definitely cool!

My fleet is pretty small right now. One one side of the garage I have a '99 Honda CG125, which is a great bike but I'll be the first to admit is a stretch to call 'cool'. On the other side though I have a '95 Honda Magna 750, and that one I think certainly ticks the boxes. Bright yellow, chrome engine, screamin' V4 muscle-cruiser, and rare now in the UK (sub 50 left on the road). Saying that, my videos with the CG seem to often be pulling better views than the Magna, which is mildly annoying, but I think that's perhaps circumstantial from the topics rather than people searching out the bikes.

I am fortunate enough to have 5 bikes - My Coolest is a 1970 Puch Maxi 😎 (Nobody else thinks so, which helps Massively)

I've had 3 FS1E's, 1 C50, DT100, Garelli Tigercross, TS50 ER, X5 200, RD 125, RGV 250 H, ZZR600, VTR 1000, TLR1000R, and a Bandit 1250 Streetfighter, all of which i consider were "cool bikes".(Subjective opinion)) lol.

I have one with the same gold exterior but with the more durable brown leather interior. It costs nothing to run for the majority of the year as i have solar panels and storage battery. I use it mainly as a 2 seater as with the seats folded, it makes a great dog van. The light weight 1200kg is what makes it a fantastic car i think. I regularly get 160 miles on a charge by being careful on motorway top speed. 64mph max seems to be the sweet spot. With our highly congested motorways, blasts to higher speeds hardly gets you to your destination quicker anyways. Put simply i love my i3 and wouldn't swap it for any other car on sale today.

Thanks for your video. I like the real-time aspect of the video, showing that even a relatively easy process as advertised by the manufacturer still requires some back and forth for averages joes like me. This MMI box breathes new life into used BMW i3’s who might have lost connectivity in several markets due to phase out of 3G networks by adding Android Auto, something all current day alternatives offer.

Great set up mate. One thing i would do is put your full tank higher than your full pump! This way you should not have to prime your pump everytime you start up. Let gravity do the work ! Pluss the down force of the waight of the diesel, for instance,,1. Lt = 1 Klg,5 Ltr = 5 klg down force. God Bless you and your,s. Hope this helps in some small way.

Bike is looking really nice, it sounds like the other bike is in better condition so why not just make that one the best if can be? Also what's the plan for the other bike?

Brings back memoires of burning oil from leaky cam cover gaskets, tough little bike's, hammerd mine all over the uk, just kept going with next to no maintinance.

I was riding around Wales when the 20 mph restrictions came in. There were more cars pulling out in front of me at junctions than before. It spoilt a good ride!

Brilliant, big fan of the 250 RS. Mine blew up spectacularly when we were nearly home after a charity run to the Med and back about 10 years ago. Top bike and looked like good fun still

Remember my parents stopped at the Chainbridge Hotel a few times many years ago! I’ve often thought of buying a CB250RS and probably will at some point, currently my ‘small’ bike was the earlier CD200 Benly, the first ‘big’ bike I owned back in the late ‘70’s! 🤣I’ve only ever ridden a CB250RS once when a friend fell off one and I was ‘volunteered’ to ride it back home! Enjoyed it EVEN though the bars were completely skew whiff from the accident! 🤣

Had one of these once,raced a ccm super moto thing on way back from a rally down south,couldn't overtake it,think they were over 500cc,he couldn't lose me though, seemed a bit upset when got next to him at a junction before he tore off again, I was going different direction, still find amusing to this day, no top box though, I still ain't old enough for fairings either ,stay safe.

You can tell that ZX is more geared for Silverstone than Wales.. Perfect RS country though. Watching in 20 minute chunks.
