Jesus, Himself, said that we should not let our anger cause us to sin; now He did not say that it was a sin to feel angry, just to allow the emotion to lead us into a sinful action. If I get angry with someone and start calling them profane names or strike them physically, that is wrong and sinful. If I keep my mouth shut and walk away, go cool off and let go of whatever that person did and not stew over it, that is Jesus meant by not allowing our anger to cause us to sin. His words have greater meaning than what most people hear from them these days.
