He knew what she was trying to ask and he talked around it. That´s why she had to ask him over and over. Ben's responses were educational and made without rancor. So many on the Left use terms meant as pejoratives by simply adding the suffix "phobic" to them. Literally, the term phobic means "fear of", not "hatred of". Expressing an opinion of what is normal or abnormal does not make one a hateful person. One can "hate" cancer, without hating the victims of cancer.
It's so annoying when the crowd acts as if somebody just got owned when in reality a respectable conversation is taking place. It's common for crowds to do this, on both sides of the the aisle. Even though I generally agreed with what the audience was cheering for, it bothered me immensely, because that sort of thing can make the person asking questions feel outnumbered and cornered and subconsciously make her become incredibly defensive. This was brilliant. I've always been a watcher of Ben, and this conversation can go down as one of the most respectful on either side. What I love is that for me personally, when I'm in a conversation politically, these are the types of conversation I want as well. College students are very smart and have a lot to say. Plus they’re adults so they should know how to defend their position. If you’re going up against someone like Ben Shapiro or Matt Walsh, it’s a really good idea to have your facts straight and actually know what you are talking about.

If you pee through penis, you are male. If you pee through vagina, you are female. If you have two genitals, then back to the basic. see through what genital do you pee. Same. Generally I feel like politics are becoming more and more about "beating" the other side than to find solutions.
But I see this in both sides tbh, take Ben's fans here in this video for example who would applaud no matter what he'd say, just to "show that libtard girl" or whatever. And the exact same goes for the iconic, screeching and offended left. But I'm happy to see that there are people - regardless of on which side they are on - who agree with me in these terms.

This was a really good back and forth where both sides were able to present their thoughts in a respectful manner with no hurt feelings. This is what folks should aspire to do if they want to discuss some of the more polarizing issues. Anyone that immediately wants to discredit an opinion or name call is doing a great intellectual disservice to anyone that hears it.
Ive seen his name pop up over the last few years but today is the first time ive watched any videos with him talking with a crowd. Dude is sharp.

Also she did apologize for being sassy when she took a slight tone against him.
I personally feel that Stein should be added at the end of Shapiro. So then we can identify him as Shapirostein. Also I think it would be utterly appropriate to call him Benstein as his first name.

Very constructive and respectful dialogue. Ben articulates the same thing I have on numerous occasions, that gender dysphoria is a mental illness and should be treated as such. This is always met with outrage and derision so I don't bother stating it anymore because I was actually losing friends over it.
She was so respectful. She said “I’m sorry. I’m not trying to be sassy”. Ppl need to watch this. That was so cool. I don’t agree with a lot of her stuff but she was cool.

The worst part about this video was the supporters clapping after he gave a good point. You do not have to make the debate more one sided than it already is, it also makes the girl feel more defensive and not wanting to accept what he says.
And deals with the brainless fools behind her just applauding after every sentence from Ben’s mouth, good for her to be able to stay up and debate.

How could she seriously ask if Ben feels like he’s at fault for the people on the right acting out in evil ways because he has a stance and opinion on a topic.... he doesn’t control what other people do. Ben has never said anything remotely close to that. She wants him to take accountability of other people’s actions. Nothing intelligent or civil about being an uneducated moron trying to play a gotcha game with someone who’s view points she didn’t even comprehend. She put the responsibility on him to answer with complete accuracy and civility by trying to pin him into a corner with her personal definitions. Trying to box someone in to wrote responses based on incorrect assumptions and definitions is not civil and is no more having a true dialog than yelling at someone. She tried to use vague words (which aren’t vague btw transphobic literally means afraid of trans people) to twist his ideas. Given the time he should have had her scrap the word transphobic and had her describe exactly what she meant. She would have been unable to do so because if she were to have to put her thoughts into coherent language it would be clear she did not have ground to stand on. She didn’t even understand the language she was using and is therefore incapable of true dialogue. Before a discussion can happen we have to agree on what words mean without that there is no hope. she was a complete moron and if you think she sounded intelligent I feel bad for you
Where was her intelligence in saying at 8.14 "I dont know of any particular cases, where Ben has told me to literally go murder trans...".
