Yes, the thing she called shameful was the use of "racist questions" against the Justice. But when Cruz said she had decided his questions were racist and rebutted her on that point, she said that wasn't what she said. It is sad because she literally had her question written down and couldn't look back and see that he was right about her questioning of him. She couldn't accept his rebuttal so she just said that she hadn't asked using those words, yet she had indeed used those words.

He has argued cases several times before the U.S. Supreme Court, and you don't get there by being a slouch. He handled this brilliantly, was schooling her without being condescending or combative. Part of that reaction was simply that a lot of Texans were/are simply too poor to leave any job they might have and travel to Cancun and stay in a fancy hotel (at any time) as rich guy Cruz did while they suffered. The timing and the optics of his trip were awful and they no doubt felt that he was in effect saying to poor freezing Texans, "Let them eat cake".

I recently could barely breathe& was so scared that I went to an ER&was admitted for dyspnea. I stayed there for the last 5 days of 2023 & was discharged on 12/31/2023.I have been blessed many times in my life through faith in Jesus&this was my most recent example.Although this blessing was aided by the help of Drs& nurses I believe the Good Lord guided their efforts.Sorry to give you this background but as a 1sttime viewer of your program I thoroughly enjoyed the Ted Cruz response to the obviously misinformed young woman college student.God bless you in your future endeavors.HappyNew Year to everyone,believers & sinners!
