The stonework is phenomenal! The strength, pointing still fresh the architecture itself.Nice hike, excellent video with "quiet hitchhikers" good for you
Awesome place. It looks like it was a whole community. It is sad that it was abandoned. Thanks for the adventure.

what an awesome place!
I’m guessing you rather like that place 😊. That was a stunning place and it still is actually. The stonework is gorgeous. Lovely little waterfalls too. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care
I just adore you! You have a wonderful way of talking that is both fun and informational! Great Video and what a cool place!
really interesting place, it's neat to see it now I could just imagine how it looked back in the day ...thanks for posting enjoyed watching.
That place is fantastic. How I wish I had someone to take me to places like that
Wow love the stone work, arches, fireplaces so interesting & T-storms.
Pretty spot must have looked awesome when they lived there can see why they chose that site to build
Awesome 👍
Incredible! Thank you so much for sharing!
Very interesting and intriguing place! It must have been magnificent in its day.
Wow, I'll bet those ruins are haunted as heck! Great place to come back to on a full moon night to look for ghosties. 👻👻👀
Thanks!
Thank you!
Oh wow is that beautiful!!! The view of the river is amazing! Thank you Cliff!
Thanks Cliff for an amazing explore of a place I will likely never see, in person!
Was hoping u guys would go up to the school house because I did not make it up there either when I was there. The place is really awesome though. I did notice the view down to the Hudson was not available when I was there last summer. They have cleared away a lot of brush it looks like. I think there is an old trolly station u can hike up to just down the road, I did not get to that either.
Very cool place to see! Thanks Cliff...Love the stones instead of bricks. Makes it so much more rustic looking. And every time I see an old place with that robins egg blue paint again I think of our 2 old farm houses.
The building looked pretty sturdy, it’s a testament to the workmanship I’d suppose. Interesting video Cliff, thank you!
Beautiful area! Reminds me of the ruins in HAHA Tonka State Park near the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.
Cool. I’m a trail steward here on the weekends. Glad you enjoyed your trip to the Hudson Highlands. Stop by the tent next time and say hi.
Great video. It must have been a beautiful estate. I would have liked to have heard what Robert was talking about since he knows the place.
Nothing GLOOMY about that place,
❤😮that is wow worthy! I could live there!!!
Beautiful. Thanks cliff.❤❤❤❤
recently visited stonehenge uk5 thousand years old
WOW, Cliff, those are some beautiful ruins... Would have loved to see it originally... I love the stone work and all archways as well. It does remind me of a castle, too.
Cliff, I just posted a video on my small 29 Subscriber channel that you may like... nice Hike and Ruins of the Old Abandon Keithsburg Minneapolis St. Louis Train Bridge... I posted one of Pope Creek Bridge crossing, not too far for this one a couple of years ago.
Type in Cornish estate ruins into Google images, some older pics pop up
To think the place was lost in a tragic fire in the mid 60's. I had also heard the Cornishes had devoted some of the land to chicken farming prior. Thank you Cliff! I have hiked these grounds with old pals from NYC, when venturing outside our beloved Keystone home 😊
Nice fixer upper
Wouldn't you love to live there? Id put a gazebo on that overlook.
Could someone put this back together?
not likely
thanks For The Interesting Video. we Watched It Twice. Where Is Your Bike
What bike? You mean his suv?
@@Curious1304 Who . EXACTLY. ARE. YOU ❓❓❓❓
A long time Pennsylvanian (born and bred!) and lover of outdoors, woods and adventure! Been out of commission lately so enjoying Cliff's adventures a while as I work to getting back on my feet. Who are you?
"Wow". At least you're not saying "Duuude" over and over. The best thing is there are no snobby people living there now, who would have you arrested for trespassing.
